I have been ignoring this website for quite some time now, but I think it deserves to be updated a bit. I am currently in Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. I'm not exactly sure what brought me to the Army, but the word on the street is that everything happens for a reason. I am serving a 6 year enlistment to get my life on a track that will provide for my family in the long run. I don't know if this is for me, but I have a little less than 4 years to figure it out. All I really want out of life is to become a high school teacher and baseball coach. That dream is still alive, and hopefully, the Army will pay for the remainder of my education. My family is doing well...we have three children, ages 6, 3, and 1. Kaitlynn is in Kindergarten this year, Brady is in Preschool, and Brooklynn is enjoying the alone time with Mom while the other two are in school. Gina and I are doing great, and I can't wait to be back with them on a more permanent basis -- though the Army will keep us apart more than I like.
