Event 1:
May 21, Wed. at 8pm, Casa Blanca (231 E 53rd St. between 2nd and 3rd Ave.) will be hosting a Moroccan Night Party. There will be hot and cold munchies, a raffle with prizes like a free massage, haircut and dating lesson, games and a kissing booth.

On May 26, come
celebrate life of Leslie Cheung (Zhang, Guo-Rong) by watching the movies that
made him famous at Anthology Film Archives, 32 2nd Ave. at 2nd St.. THE BRIDE
WITH WHITE HAIR (8:30 pm) and the second film will be announced during the
Asian Film Festival.

For an evening of
awesome live performance, exciting sounds, and a room full of inspiring
people. Featuring visual art and music from around the world (Italian folk,
Colombian fusion, batucada samba from Brazil, Live Drum and Bass, Arabian
Grooves, Indonesian Pop, and Gypsy Ambient) Every Tuesday. Doors Open 8pm.
Performance 9pm. Only $10. $15 addtl. for a two course special prix fix Thai
dinner. The Velvet Lounge - Upstairs of Tai Restaurant, located at 223
Mulberry Street between Prince and Spring St.
