When in another country it can be a worry for some people what and where to eat.On Oahu and especially in Waikiki you can find food from all over the world, so you can always find something you know and like. Sorabal Korean Restaurant

Open 24 hours a day / everyday

Sorabal offers good Korean food at a reasonable price ~ a good place for breakfast / lunch or dinner.

 

Fook Yuen Seaffod Restaurant

1960 Kapiolani Blvd suite 200 Phone:973-0168

Lunch ~ 11:00am to 2:00pm Dinner ~ 5:30pm to 3:00am

Great Chinese food, a favourit with locals and visitors. Try the lobster in Garlic and butter sauce or Ginger andGreen Onion.

 

Assaggio Italian Restaurant

A little expensive, but generous portions ~ enough for two.

 

Tony Roma's

1972 Kalakaua Ave Phone:942-2121

Voted the best ribs in America. Large portions for all.

 

Duke's Canoe Club

Outrigger Waikiki 2335 kalakaua Ave Phone:922-2268.

Arrive early to get a table by the beach and watch the sun set over a Mai Tai or Pina Colada.

The food is typical American fare and the prices are good.

 

Keoni by Keo's

Ohana East Hotel 150 Ka'iulani Ave Phone:922-9888.

Thai food ~ a little expensive but great taste. Serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.

 

Keo's in Waikiki

2028 Kuhio Ave Phone:951-9355.

Said to be Hawaii's best Thai restaurant. Serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Reservations are recommended for dinner.

 

The Chart House

1765 Ala Moana Blvd Phone:941-6669

Arrive early to get a table over looking the harbour to see a great sun set. Order from the early evening menu for some great tasting food. I recommend the pork chops and pupu's.

 

Kaka'oka Kitchen

Ward Center 1200 Ala Moana Blvd Phone:596-7488.

This is a great place to have breakfast or lunch. Hawaiian style fast food and plate lunches served.

 

Kua'Aina

Ward Village Shops ~ Ward Center Ala Moana Blvd Phone:599-133.

Winner of "Best Burger" awards for many years. Kua'Aina serves quality burgers and sandwiches. They are big and popular. Be prepared to wait about 10 to 15 minutes at lunch time. There is another branch on the North Shore near Hale'iwa.

 

Big City Diner

Ward Entertainment Center ~ Ward Center Ala Moana Blvd and at Kaimuki and Kailua.

Try their baby back pork ribs guava glaze, or tender calamari tempura with wasabi aioli dipping sauce. Open daily for breakfast, lunch in late January and starting dinner too in February. 2003 Ilima Award Winner for "Hawaii's best family restaurant"
