Shopping on Oahu

The Ala Moana Center

Hawaii's biggest shopping center is Oahu's Ala Moana Center, which has about 200 stores spread across four floors. Getting to the Ala Moana Center is very easy from Waikiki, take "The Bus" numbers 8,19,20,42 or 58. If you prefer you can take "The Ala Moana Shopping Trolley" which runs every 15 minutes with pick ups at eight locations in Waikiki. The trolley runs Monday to Saturday ~ 9:30 am to 9:00pm and Sunday ~ 9:30am to 7:00pm

Taking "The Ala Moana Shopping Trolley' may be the best option as "The Bus" can become very crowded with standing room only. If you prefer to drive to The Ala Moana Center is located on Ala Moana Boulevard between Piikoi Street and Atkinson Drive. There is free parking on all four floors. 

The center is open from 9:30am to 9:00pm ~ Monday to Saturday and 10:00am to 7:00pm on Sunday.
