Thanks to Calvin Martin: Dark Matches Alex Pug Portaeu vs Shane Sewell Shane won with a diving headbutt. It's nice to see the Pug back in the WWF. Too bad he's already jobbing again. Winner: Shane Sewell Papi Chulo vs Tom Miller Some decent moves in this match. Papi did a summersault plancha to the outside on Tom. Tom came back with a split legged moonsault and a frankensteiner. Tom finally pulled it off with a corkscrew plancha from the top. Winner: Tom Miller Pat Myers vs Steve Andrews Boring chants. Nothing special here. Winner: Steve Andrews Sunday Night Heat Val Venis vs Steve Blackman Val talked about Haley's comet. Val said Haley's comet only comes once every 76 years but the Big Valboski comes on command. Blackman immitated Val early on by grinding. Kurt Angle came down. Asshole chants started right away. Angle tossed Val some nunchucks. Angle screwed up on throwing Val the nunchucks. Angle was on the outside of the ring throwing them to Val who was in the ring but they landed on the other side of the ring and Val had to go out there and get them. When Val came back in with the nunchucks it looked like Blackman was just waiting to get hit. Val clocked Blackman with the nunchucks and got the pin. Winner: Val Venis Gangrel w/ Luna and Mideon vs Headbangers Taz's logo came on during Mideon's entrance. Headbangers pinned Mideon with what looked to be a Lou Thez press from the top. I'm sure there is a name for it but I just can't think of it right now. Stage dive? Oh well. Winners: Headbangers Dlo Brown vs Taka Michinoku USA chants immediately. Dlo hit a moonsault off the top for a 2 count. Dlo finally got the pin via the lowdown. After the match Dlo hit Funaki with the sky high. Winner: Dlo Brown Godfather w/ 4 hos and Mark Henry w/ Mae Young vs Dudley Boys Before the match started Henry got on the mic and read a short poem to Mae Young. Dvon insulted the crowd and did the three commandments. Asshole chants pick up. Dudleys with a lot of double teams early on because the ref had his back turned messing with Mark Henry. Henry was finally tagged in and cleaned house. All 4 men entered the ring which spilled to the outside. Mae jumped on Buh Buh Ray's back. The ref called for the bell. After the match all the hos jumped on top of the Godfather and Mae Young and Mark Henry hugged and danced. Winner by DQ: Dudley Boys Smackdown Smackdown opens up with a taped segment from earlier in the day where Triple H and Stephanie are holding a company meeting in front of all the wrestlers and staff. They announce that Vince and Shane are not there plus they announce Rock vs Big Show for the title and Al Snow vs Mankind. Bossman is out cutting a promo. Chris Jericho comes out and tells Bossman that he is boring everyone. Basically this becomes a impromptu matchup between Jericho and Albert. Chris Jericho vs Prince Albert Chyna and Kitty (The Cat) come down to watch. Bossman sucks chants. Bossman hands Albert his nightstick. As Albert was fixing to hit Jericho with the nightstick Chyna racked Albert. Jericho did a lionsault then picked up the nightstick and hit Albert with it and got the pin. Winner: Chris Jericho Triple H and Stephanie are shown backstage. Stephanie said she is going to the ring to see Kurt Angle wrestle, who's opponent happens to be Test. Back from commercial Triple H tells Stephanie that she isn't going anywhere. He tells her to sit down and drink some champagne. Stephanie leaves anyways. Kurt Angle vs Test Stephanie comes to ringside for color commentating. Test backed Angle up into the turnbuckle and punched his head ten times. Stephanie said to ring the bell. Test is disqualified. Test stalked Stephanie around the ring and up the ramp. It was a trap. DX attacked Test on the rampway. Finally after DX backs off and leaves Test is helped up by Patterson, Brisco, and BB. Winner by DQ: Kurt Angle Slam of the week: Jeff Hardy's senton bomb off of the top of the cage from Raw Monday night. Back from commercial Patterson, Brisco, and BB check on Test in the back. Triple H and Stephanie walk up and tell Brisco and Patterson that they have to wrestle the New Age Outlaws or they are fired. Jeff Hardy vs Matt Hardy Terri of course comes out with both the Hardys. Matt and Jeff start really getting into it. Terri comes in and tries to break it up. They push her down so she goes back to the outside to watch. Jeff did a senton bomb to the outside on Matt. Back in ring Jeff hit another senton bomb for a 2 count. Matt won when he put Jeff in a sleeper like hold and dropped him to the mat. Probably more like an inverted ddt I guess. After the match they all hugged and made up. Winner: Matt Hardy Tori is in the back telling Triple H and Stephanie that she is not going to wrestle in any more pudding matches. Oh. Is that so? Stephanie says she is wrestling her tonight. Back from commercial the Mean Street Posse is in the back offering their help to Triple H and Stephanie. Triple H tells them maybe we got something for you. Tori vs Stephanie This match never took place. Triple H and Stephanie told Tori to look at the ovaltron. Kane was getting his ass kicked by the Mean Street Posse. Stephanie tells Tori her real opponent is X-Pac. X-Pac did the bronco buster and x-factor for the win. X-Pac, Triple H, and Stephanie stand over Tori humiliating her. Kane comes out but it's way too late and carries Tori to the back. Winner: X-Pac Back from commercial Posse is shown backstage talking to Triple H and Stephanie again. I didn't hear what they said. Al Snow is shown backstage supposedly thanking DX for something. They never showed DX as Al was just talking in front of a locker room door that said DX on it. Al Snow vs Mankind Falls count anywhere. Al comes to the ring charging at Mankind with a baseball bat. Mankind hits Al with a chair a couple of times. Mankind with a double arm ddt on Al on a steel sign. Al got away from the socko claw. Mankind got Al with the testicular claw with a pair of tongs. Mankind then picked up a bowling ball and bowled it right into Al's crotch. Strike! The match ended up going into the back. Mankind and Al fought in the DX locker room for a bit. They didn't show what was goin on in there although we heard a lot of noises. Next thing you know Al and Mankind are outside the door on the ground where Mankind got the pin. Winner: Mankind The Rock is shown backstage leaving his locker room. Back from commercial Terri is shown talking to Santa. Backstage, the Mean Street Posse try to leave the building. Triple H and Stephanie order them back in the building to fight the Acolytes. Acolytes vs Mean Street Posse Faarooq pinned Rodney in the first minute. After the match the Acolytes continued to destroy the Posse and I do mean destroy. Ron Simmons was way over. Unbelievable! You had to be there. The place exploded. Lots of FSU tomohawk chops and war chants. Winners: Acolytes Backstage Lilian Garcia was interviewing Jim Ross. Ross commented on Stephanie and Triple H's actions. Ross said she was a word that sounded like witch but started with a B. Back from commercial Triple H threatens Jim Ross. Stephanie slaps Ross down. Too Cool and Phatu vs Hollys and Viscera The match ended when Phatu moved out of the way and Viscera splashed Hardcore by accident. Phatu pinned Hardcore with the turnbuckle buttsplash, or whatever you call it. Heh. After the match Too Cool and Phatu danced. Winners: Too Cool and Phatu Patterson and Brisco vs New Age Outlaws Tag team championship match. Match started with Brisco throwing powder in Mr. Ass's eyes. Patterson and Brisco put the figure four and boston crab on them at the same time. Outlaws ended up winning the match when Mr. Ass put the fameasser on Brisco. Winners: New Age Outlaws Backstage, the Rock and Big Show are shown on a split screen walking around. During the commercial they placed a recliner chair in front of the ovaltron. The Rock vs The Big Show World title match. Triple H and Stephanie come out before the match starts and Triple H says it is now a lumberjack match. Triple H and Stephanie sit down in the recliner in front of the ovaltron drinking champagne. The lumberjacks are Hollys, Dudleys, Posse, Viscera, New Age Outlaws, X-Pac, Mideon, Prince Albert, Gangrel, Al Snow, and Kurt Angle. The Rock hits Big Show with a rock bottom. New Age Outlaws stop the count. Big Show chokeslams the Rock. New Age Outlaws pull Big Show out before the 3 count. Here comes Mankind with a cart full of weapons! The Rock is wearing everybody out on the inside of the ring with a cookie sheet while Mankind is taking care of business on the outside. Somehow in all of this Big Show managed to leave. Viscera was the last one left in the ring with the Rock. Rock bottom and people's elbow on Viscera. Triple H took off his shirt and wanted to come to the ring and fight the Rock but Stephanie held him back. I'm pretty sure this is where Smackdown ended. Winner: No Decision After Smackdown went off the air The Rock did his usual mic work. Everybody started chanting FSU. The Rock said he's going to call a spade a spade. When he graduated from Miami in 95 he said FSU whipped our ass. Then he did the poontang pie bit. Mr. Ass came to the ring and received a rock bottom and people's elbow. The Rock left. But wait, Rock came back and sang the Smackdown Hotel for us and finally left for good. And that was it........
