My kittens are raised in my home where they receive lots of love and attention every day of their lives. From the time they are born, they are handled, cuddled, and kissed several times a day. For their own protection, newborns are kept in a separate room and in a large cage with their mommy. This protects them from germs and diseases, as well as ensuring that they are SAFE (and not stuck under a chair or accidentally shut in a closet).

     As soon as they start walking, they begin to explore their room. Next, when they are old enough (about 2 months of age) they are allowed to visit the rest of the family. This way they get used to other cats, dogs, and people.

     Kittens are not always available … I breed very conservatively. (To see what is currently available, click on the "Available Kittens Information" button at the top of this page.) I do not breed to make money … I do not mass produce cats … I breed cats in the hope of coming ever closer to my “ideal” JBT. I am breeding for quality, not quantity. So you may have to wait for that very special JBT kitten, but let me assure you, it will be worth the wait. Reservations are gladly accepted. If you chose to reserve a kitten in advance, you will have the opportunity to watch your kitten grow and develop via pictures (and stories) until it is old enough to go home with you. If you absolutely positively cannot wait, I may be able to refer you to another breeder who has babies.
