The Very Misunderstood Monkey
Funny, funny is the monkey,
Though they smell kind of funky.
They jump around from tree to tree,
Which was always kind of cool to me.
They love to eat bananas and fruit like that,
Till they get really huge and fat.
Things like that don't bother they monkeys,
Things like boys and losing your keys.
Silly things don't matter to them like money,
They only care if the next day will be sunny.
Every day he is ever so happy,
Unlike humans who can be ever so snappy.
They're always out having fun,
When usually our backpack weighs a ton.
I know their life might seems kind of junkie,
But I bet you wish that you were a monkey!
The Crabby Catipillar
Tim the catipillar felt really sad,
But all his friends thought he was really mad.
He smarted off and said bad things to them,
Even his best friend the spider named Pim.
He really wished that they could understand,
That he can't do everything that they demand.
It seems like every time he tries to tell them that,
It always comes out like he is calling them fat.
Maybe tommorow will be a better day,
Well at least that's what the old owl would say.
