Mt. Baldy is a totally cool place to learn how to snowboard. I went there my first time. I had so much fun. Seriously. The mountains were not at all intimidating, and even though I fell on my ass several times, I came home without any broken bones, or severed limbs. If you want to go snowboarding for the first time, this is the place to go.
Snowboarding is not difficult, and if you know how to skateboard, or surf it will probably come pretty easy to you.
Big Bear Mountain
Personally I have never been to BigBear, but I have heard nothing but good things about it. This is one of California's most popular snowboarding resorts.
Mammoth Mountain
is another one of California's popular Snowboarding Resorts.
is located just hours from Southern California in Wrightwood. Lift tickets range from $12-$40 dollars a day (Prices are subject to change).
