Manoa Valley rainbows

Waikiki, the nearest coast area (3 miles away from the YWAM Honolulu base) receives 25 inches or rain a year. Meanwhile, the interior of Manoa valley is one of the wettest areas in Hawaii and receives 170 inches of rain a year. Therefore the middle of the valley where the YWAM Honolulu base can see and experience both. This combination makes for a lot of rainbows. During the rainy seasons they can most often be seen during the afternoon. These photos were taken from the back of the Mauka House on the north edge of the YWAM Honolulu base.
