The culminating activity for this unit is adapted from a lesson described in the AIMS Electrical Connections Manual. This activity requires students to build an electrical quiz board for the content knowledge that they have gained throughout the unit. Students will use file folders to construct a board that will quiz or test their classmates and themselves about what they have learned about electricity. Examples of the types of questions or topics that they may want to cover will be provided to the students and a sample quiz board will be available as well. This activity will not only reinforce the fundamental concepts or terms which are highlighted in the fifth grade science curriculum, but it will give the children an opportunity, once again, to demonstrate their understanding of circuits by building one of their own.
