Lulu's Overdrive, Fury, allows her to cast any black magic spell she knows multiple times without using any MP. She can use her Overdrive even if she is silenced, and it is not affected by either Shell or Reflect. However, each spell cast with Fury is weaker (roughly 25%) than if the spell was cast normally. Except Gravity and Ultima (both of which affect all enemies) the targets of Fury is randomly choosen.
After selecting Fury and a black magic spell, a timer will appear with a meter below it and a number besides the meter. This number shows how many times Lulu will cast the selected black magic on the enemy. Rotate the right analog stick clockwise as many times as possible in the given time limit (about 4 seconds). The greater the number of full rotations, the more times Lulu will cast the spell. Note that the number beside the meter doesn't increase with every rotation of the stick though; different spells require a different number of full rotations to increment the number of times it will be cast. Generally higher level spells such as Flare, Ultima etc need more rotations to increase the number of times it will be cast, while the higher Lulu's magic is, the faster the number will increase. A tip for using Fury would be to cast either level 3 magic (Firaga, Waterga etc) or Flare rather than Ultima because even though Ultima is more powerful, the number of times you can cast it simply increases too slowly, so that overall Flare will actually be more useful than Ultima unless you are fighting a large group of weak enemies.
