I had been doing some 3D modelling for a short time when
I had a sudden urge to do something more productive other than
making models and then just piling them up on the hard drive
doing nothing.
I have always been a keen PC gamer and very much enjoy RPG
games and especially First Person Shooters such as Half-Life.
I started to look around on the net and came across some excellent
software for producing PC games. The software is called 3D Game
Studio and a link to their site can be found in the links section.
This section of the site will be dedicated to a major project
I have started, using the 3DGS software.
Campus Conspiracy
Story
Intro: You, James Black, are a University student in
England. The last day of the semester turns out not to be quite
how you had expected. After getting back to your room on campus
you fall asleep not knowing that tonight isn't going to be an
ordinary night. A war is going on as you sleep, but no ordinary
war, this war is against worlds which normally no-one gets to
know about. This one is different, this time they can't cover
it up, you can't let them cover it up.
(More story to come as it is confirmed)
Progress
19/02/02: To date I do not yet
own a copy of the 3DGS software but will do soon. I have been
using Max to start making some models to import once I get the
software. I am also able to make some models for use in movie
sequences.

Here are a few pictures of one of the models to be used in
the game. The great thing about the 3DGS software is it allows
you to import models and animation from external sources.
