Tree Planting Workshop
by Margarete Hasserodt

On May 10th the GINLC held a workshop at the Centennial Farm. Everything you ever wanted to know about planting was addressed. Thank you Carefree Lawn Center, Trenton, for the kind donation of a beautiful maple tree (Autumn Blaze). This tree was planted north of the parking lot in the middle of the lawn area. It is growing nicely and we trust it will give the visitors to the farm great shade in the years to come. A plaque commemorating this event will be installed in the near future.
