Golden Sun
Introduction/Review By Vegepunk
Golden Sun for the Gameboy Advance is very impressive. It is a valid competitor for RPG of the year. The story is about the people who live in a village named Vale. The main character is Isaac, who uses "Psynergy." The Psynergy is like the basic magic system with all of the elements broke down into fire, ice, water and wind. Isaac and his friends go their journey to learn more about Psynergy.
The visuals were beautiful, the scenery was really great and the move animations were very impressive. And also, with the anime character designs, they will sure set you into the mood. The music is very well and the sound effects were loud and had perfect quality. The RPG gameplay system is very classic, which makes me happy. There are many techniques, weapons and items, enough to make you sweat. You can cast spells, use techniques and good old-fashioned weapon attacks to take down the enemy. You can use one-butttton Psynergy shortcuts if you don't want to navigate through the whole menu. I say that if you are a GBA owner, you should put this game at the top of your list.
