GO MIDGARD!!!

Enjoy My Site!!!

Introduction:

I want to be the first to welcome you to my comprehensive overview of the Mighty Thane.

In this segment we will be going over the basic outline of the way a thane works. First of all, a thane is a hybrid character, meaning that he has both casting abilities, and melee styles for combat. But first of all, you need to make your toon.

Start off by clicking on the "make new character" button in your game, but not before selecting Midgard :) In my opinion, a Troll Thane is the best way to go, but you can decide for yourself what you want. Then, you will need to name him and put his Starter Points in Ect. My advice to you is to put 10 to strength, 10 to constitution, 5 to dexterity, and 5 to quickness.

Once you start playing your character, you will notice that a "tank" is much easier to level than other toons you might have played. And when you reach level 5, you will then embark on a journey through the wide world of ultimate tanking, with no problems with finding a group.

Don't forget that when you reach level 5 you can put specialization points into your toon, which i suggest that you put all 14 points into Storm Calling, and at level 6 and up you train in Storm Calling once, and put the rest in Axe (or Specified Weapon). You should be able to catch your weapon up to 1 level below you by 15, but Storm Calling should always be your primary skill. It will help you take that "edge" out of your approaching enemy.
