Now that you have aquired a taste for the awsome thane you just created, take him for a spin to the "Named" Guards, and type: /s task; This will allow you to kill an animal or creature for far more xp and money than you would by otherwise using the conventional method of killing solo for loot.

You will find that a thane is a much easier version of the other tanks of Midgard, in such a way that you basicly "Pull" (Give damage to the enemy from afar) with your bolts and instants and then initiate combat with melee damage. This is a working of YOUR advantage, by cutting the enemies life in half before he even swings his weapon. And at higher lvls in the bg's or frontiers, your spells will play a major part in combat, although you WILL sometimes resort to melee combat with the "Puke Bowl" Hibs and the "Hide And Seek" Albs. I call them such things because I have no respect for their type of play toons.

Realm Abilities will play part in your toon's well being as well. They will give your cirtain advantages towards defeating the opponant. Always look forward to getting "First Aid" as the first line of defense for it allows you to heal yourself for a substantial amount of hp's, good for those quick gettaways and surviving that final death blow. As long as you have "First Aid", you may use any more Realm Ability Points at your discretion.

You also have the choice of armor color!!!


Yes, that's right! You can "Dye" your armor. This is important to me because it reflects upon the players themselves, and my pride is too much to wear PINK into battle.(although others have chosen to do so, LOL)
