About the Contents

The above are some writings, about some writings. I'd like to remind you of Ecclesiastes, though, which says something along the lines of "Writings and books are worthless, because there's too many opinions out there, and studying won't teach you how to enjoy life." (It's near the end.) Also, I remember reading some story where some librarian in Japan was frustrated at a monk who sat in the library all day meditating, and never read. When he asked him why he didn't read, and was shocked to find out that the monk was illiterate, the monk pointed to his heart and told the scholar to teach him the meaning of that character. woot!
