At one point my husband and I were planning to breed these Austrailian marsupials. Though we had ten at one time. It still did not work out. A cat we had at the time go into the cage. That same cat ate my husbands' iguana as well.

The Cat did not get them all though. It only got the mother of the two babies. Though the father was depressed so we put him with another female. He did not have another set.

We had succesfully bred on male. Though he got out of the cage and went into the ferrets cage. They wanted to play with him.

There are many reasons this did not work out with them. They were a very interesting animal to have living in our home with us. I loved having them around. Though I also must say that I belive they do belong where they came from. The do get very stressed out.

My husband had one that was tame with him. She would stay on his shoulder for a while. Though the others were not so well. They would attempt to bite you if you came near.
