The Hall of SHAME!

Edition No:5    October 2005

Hall of Shame Mission Statement

This site is dedicated to expose those shameful people who think they can lie, cheat, steal and violate the principles of basic humanity and remain anonymous. As you are aware, my involvement with Cameroon began through the glazed eyes of a tourist. After a sham marriage and the loss of my life savings to the corrupt judiciary, I now see the plight of Cameroonians through much clearer eyes. It is through fiercely protected anonymity, by those involved, that corruption heads down its unbending path. These are the same people sitting in the pew next to you in church on Sundays, who are stealing the food from your mouth and your children’s education on Mondays. I say, lets take a look at these people and let them enjoy the sleepless nights that they inflict upon others. Exposure of these peoples' acts of shame is the strongest tool to drive others away from these evil practices.

Is Cameroon so far down the toilet bowl of corruption that it is beyond help? I think not, but the fact that many wear their crimes as medals to their cleverness, and worse, that others aspire in the same way to achieve like goals is a mentality worthy of standing against.

Hall of Shame - Monthly newsletter

The next edition will be published on the 1st of  November 2005 and shall continue to arrive on the 1st of the month thereafter. If you wish to subscribe you can reply to Camerooninjustice@hotmail.com and write SUBSCRIBE in the subject box. Each month once the newsletter is loaded onto the site you shall receive in your email inbox, a link to take you to the newsletter.

Submissions

Please feel free to send your own corruption or injustice stories. Each month contributions highlighting the difficulties of those that may not have found the means to voice their issues will be considered. Of course I would need to check story validity depending on its contents, but we won’t be shying away from what needs to be said. Consider this your newsletter and within reason there shall be no censorship. Photos can be published also, if they enhance your tale. Its early days and may take a couple of editions to get into the flow of things, but no target is too big. My philosophy is fairly simple “A thief is a thief”. I don’t discriminate on age, colour, race or sex. I do request that you use this forum for the purpose it is intended. Thanks.

From The Editors Desk

Dear Fellow corruption Haters,

The response to last months newsletter was phenomenal. Due to the large volume of traffic to the website, some readers experienced difficulties viewing the newsletter. Many thanks to the readers who promptly informed me of their difficulties. The problem was easily fixed with increased bandwidth being supplied to the website. This means that now, many viewers can simultaneously  view the material and no reader shall have any difficulty accessing the site in future. The website and newsletter is now being accessed daily by readers in the hundreds. To all those people I wish to say thank you, because without you there would be no newsletter.

Last month we loaded the Hall of Shame shotgun and sprayed a few bullets around. Well nothing so frivolous as that this time. This month weve loaded the artillery with some high explosive shells, fed the coordinates into the weapon control. I wonder what happens next?  Thats right!  Push the button

Please, everyone have a safe 1st October, so youre in good shape for next months edition where we celebrate six months of Hall of Shame. That means the newsletter has lasted longer than I did eating my wifes cooking. (and thats no mean feat).

Dont miss the readers contribution in this months  Glenn's Mail Bag.

Lets keep on hammering away and shaming those thieves who steal from us. Have a great month everybody and all the best.   Glenn

Praise File #3

Prince and PA Hamilton Ayuk

A young dynamic and theological scholar nicknamed Jesusman who is nothing less than a mobile Bible. Though controversial because of his objectivity, he is a show window of what a modern day preacher should be; versed in almost all fields. An intrepid man of his words that would shy not from his detractors no matter their number. The closer you get to know him, the more you want to be the friend of this jovial and always smiling preacher. He is changing the way the Bible was interpreted and preached with his practical Christianity of mentoring and assisting those who need help even at his expense. He is an author, poet, playwright, teacher, clergy and translator. May we end with his words “Plastic surgery may repair a damaged face but a plastic smile will not do for a miserable life” and “Life is like a mysterious highway. At times we bypass those who would have made us happy on the other side of the road either because of one sidetrack or myopia”.

My 2 Cents !

This months
My 2 cents isnt really about 2 cents at all. Its about 50,000,000 fcfa and the treachery of the banking institutions involved.  Hmmm, now lets see, that would be SGBC and Societe Generale.
In April of this year, I wrote to the Chief Executive Officer of Retail Banking in Paris, Mr Alix Didier. This was done after several previous approaches to SGBC Head office in Douala were ignored. Societe Generale in Paris was made aware of this through duplicate documents.  The latest approach to SGBC resulted in the return of my registered mail (unopened), which I thought was a bit arrogant for a bank that has conducted itself like a thieves den. I took it upon myself to inform Societe Generale Head Office, feeling sure that someone would show interest in the fact that criminal activities in SGBC were going uninvestigated. Well, that was in April and Societe Generale haven
t even taken it upon themselves to acknowledge receipt of my letter.  A copy of that same letter is now available to the general public in both an English & French version.

Letter to Societe Generale April 2005

Societe Generale’s hot air policy.   Banking with SGBC!
All hot air and no spine?   SGBC's Customer service.

I wonder what one is to assume from Societe Generales response to this matter. Personally I think that they are acting in full awareness of the criminal activities and abet the criminals through their lack of action.

I have no doubt (and neither would a court) that my being poisoned was a direct result of a 419-style scam carried out in the offices of SGBC, Limbe.  Surely this should be investigated?  What about the gunplay outside the same bank some 3 months later, accusations of weapons and murder afoot?  Since when is having a rifle aimed at your chest company policy? What about the interference from bank staff as they try to cover their actions, even to the point of appearing in High court and telling blatant untruths.  Please tell me which part of the above doesnt warrant investigation?   I guess I shall sit patiently waiting for a response from SGBC or Societe Generale.    Glenn

6 Questions I want Societe Generale to answer, please!

1)   Do you have a customer service policy?

2)   Do you treat all your customers to such an extensive display of criminal actions?

3)   Do you think that my experience with your bank is just the tip of the iceberg, as to your customer service?

4)   How many accounts does your bank hold on behalf of Paul Biya and Cameroon Ministers?

5)   How many millions of dollars does your bank keep in these accounts, that in reality has been stolen from the citizens of Cameroon?

6)   Do you think SGBC & Societe Generale have the necessary attributes to be given their own Shame File in Hall of Shame newsletter?

NB: All this reminiscing about SGBC and Societe Generale leaves me feeling like I should look for a bucket to vomit in.

All the  best,   Glenn Wilson

              Chibili Mami Juju

              Chibili Mami Wata Messenger

My experience with Justice Chibili in the Fako High Court is well documented through chronologies.  Though instructed to supply an accelerated hearing, Justice Chibili  played her delaying games with Barrister Eno Charles.

Chronology # 2

During a six month adjournment I returned to Australia. When I returned to Cameroon I learnt that Chibili and Barrister Eno connived to sell the property I purchased to 3 whites.  On the 6th of May 2003 in Chibilis chambers I accused her of corruption. Chibili chose to stand down from the matter in court, rather than defend herself against the allegations.

Chronology # 3

I often wonder what hope there is for Cameroonians when people like Justice Chibili sit in judgement of them.  What country can allow a woman whose husband is a criminal to judge others? The husband embezzled money from the bank he was working in and fled to Nigeria when caught. It was through Chibili and her husbands Olumba Olumba connections that a bribe was paid to the appropriate authority and the husband returned to Cameroon with no further action taken. Justice Chibili still lives in her mansion built from monies embezzled from Cameroonians. Justice Chibili should just stay quiet and stay at home with her husband the thief.

"Justice Chibili, I look forward to the day I supply my evidence against you. Cameroon courts will continue to be sick while it employs useless people like you."

If anyone would like to view the thiefs mansion, you can visit. Head down the hill from Buea to Molyko. Turn left at Bonavanda road ( towards Bokova - Musonge's village). After 30 metres, turn right at the road that runs behind the shops. Follow this road for 500 metres until you reach a cluster of 5 houses. The mansion in the middle was built with the money the husband stole. Then phone Justice Chibili on her mobile: 9972741 and ask her to come out and greet you. Dont forget to give her my greetings from Australia, when you see her.

Chibili chop my money run

Is it true that Ketuanze Jacob is now the President of the Court in Mamfe? God help Manyu!

Finally I get my chance to speak openly to the person who tried to have me jailed and deported while I was still sick from being poisoned, so as to steal my savings. You involved yourself with soldiers accosting me with rifles at SGBC bank for a second attempted theft and then had your bail & bond boy illegaly released from jail, for organizing this shameful and dangerous incident. Then miraculously all the documents disappear from your office. You then interfered in the matter before the Fako Appeals Court that ended with the removal of the Court President (Justice Mokwe) on false allegations of corruption by fictitious witnesses, etc, etc, etc.  I hope you are proud of yourself!

Ketuanze Jacob – Investigations

I heard that you threatened to jail me if I returned to Cameroon, because I posted your picture on the web.  Let me tell you thief Ketuanze, its people like you who scare away investors and cause great hardships to Cameroonians. I will post photos of you on the net anytime I choose. I shall also print the stories of other Cameroonians who have suffered from your thievery. Just like Barrister Eno, your true justice is coming in the detailed descriptions of your crimes in my book on corruption in Cameroon.  In any country other than Cameroon, I hold enough evidence to see you jailed for a long time, but what does the Cameroon Government do? Promote you of course!

Your actions clearly show why any foreign investor should stay clear of Cameroon, with a Government that nurtures thieves and criminals like you in its judicial system. How is your small bagman from Limbe? (Robert Agbor Toko). Many of those victims to whom you sent Agbor Toko to collect your ill-gotten monies, have sent me their stories. How is your criminal dealing with SGBC Bank going?  Maybe you have brought too much shame this time and the Government will give you your justice; Cameroon style!  If not, I shall keep reminding them that there is a thief in their midst.

Eno Chambers di dry like man way i get posh belle

Well, well, well……Barrister Eno Charles Agbor, Now where do we start with you? I don’t think there is enough space to even get close to covering all your shameful dealings.  You’re not even a good driver are you? You missed your chance to give me that “accelerated” hearing in the High Court grounds. I’m betting you regret that now, (missing that is).

Barrister Eno Charles Agbor- Complaint lodged with PG.

Lets see,..you lie, you steal, you cheat, you even accuse Presidents of the court of being corrupt, (and lets not forget your forged document and fraud of 3,500,000 cfa).

I’ll let the president of the court tell the story of your actions in his own words.

Affidavit-Justice Teddy Misime Mokwe / President of The Fako High Court

You even drew Judge Chibili into your web of lies and you both got caught out, trying to sell a compound I purchased. My experience with you, was with someone who was determined to act in any way to relieve me of my property. You wanted the 4WD so badly; well you can have it, or what is left on the spare block opposite the American Embassy in Yaoundé.

Fortunately for you I’m more interested in the Magistrates and Judges who chose to act alongside you.  Is it true that Magistrate Ketuanze Jacob fled to Mamfe? I have not missed a detail about your disgusting and beastly behaviors in my book. That you made a false & damaging report against a Gendarme Brigade commander in your attempted theft, shows your malicious attitude. I hope your colleagues appreciate your effort to shame them and paint them as the most corrupt and uncivilized judiciary in the world. While your peers stand alongside people like yourself and say nothing, then they should not complain now, when they are tarred with the same brush.

I asked you very pleasantly on two occasions to resolve this matter by negotiation, but your greed told you that you could cheat me for the lot.

Understand what you have brought upon yourself and your cohorts. I earned that money, it belongs to me.     I will fight you to the death while I breathe, and never allow you and your likes to steal it from me this way.
That is my promise to you.

Let me introduce you to this pupil Barrister destined to find himself under investigation to be debarred by the Cameroonian Bar Assoc, just like his mentor, Eno Charles.  Mr Mbianyor, I haven’t much to say to you, other than I hope it sits well with the Judges in Buea, that they know you lied and made false allegations against one of their own (Justice Mokwe) causing his removal. It is through your actions that I get to pinpoint certain Judges (upcoming shame files) and throw a blanket over the whole Judiciary in Fako. You seriously are much too dull to be a lawyer, if that is what you call running around behind Eno Charles and carrying the tail of his robe to keep it from the mud. Just so we understand each other Tanyi Mbianyor, you are a thief, a liar and a cheat. Any fool who visits your chambers will get what they deserve. You disgrace your tribe, your colleagues and your country.

The personal details of any senders shall remain completely confidential and shall be known only by myself. Photos can be forwarded to Camerooninjustice@hotmail.com. NEWS - September 2005

Gov't Admits Cameroon Merited Corruption Champion.
Contrary to its earlier stance, the government of Cameroon has admitted that the German Anti-Corruption NGO, Transparency International, TI, was right when it classified Cameroon as the most corrupt country in the world for two consecutive years.

IMF Says Corruption Is Still Stalling Cameroon's Economic Progress.
Speaking to journalists in Yaounde recently, Ross (IMF) said Cameroon needs to fight all the ills so as to trigger the kind of economic growth that will trickle down to the masses.

Cameroon's Human Development Drops.
Government's efforts in fighting poverty and raising the living standards of the population has proven to be insufficient as the situation is taking a downward trend.

Biya's Affection For Power.
It seems to me that African leaders are inflicted with an intractable germ that fuels their desire to overstay their welcome and remain in power indefinitely. Thus, instead of being admired and loved, sit-tight leaders end up being tolerated or endured like a stubborn plague.

PCC Moderator Wants Cameroonians To Dump Corruption, Immorality.
The Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon, PCC, the Right Rev. Princewill Nyansako-ni-Nku, has said that Cameroon would not forge ahead or make any progress if its citizens hold on to their old habits of doing things the wrong way and perpetrating corruption and other forms of immorality.

Young Policemen Are Going Out Of Control- Retired Inspector.
Simon Esose Mwambo, retired police inspector, relives his days in the police force and regrets that young policemen commit crimes in public places with impunity, in this exclusive interview with The Post. “Some steal, gamble, and even get drunk and misbehave in their uniforms,” he says.

Delegate, Teachers Lament Deplorable School Situation.
The most appalling revelation came from Donga/Mantung. According to the account, there are 37 schools in Ako Subdivision with a total of 38 teachers only. Of this number, there are only four civil servants. Equally embarrassing were the revelations that in some areas one head teacher controls a chain of schools, and that due to lack of infrastructure, one room sometimes hosts four different classes. These are taught by a single teacher; there is no French teacher, despite the fact that pupils write French in end of course examinations. Some schools in this area score 100 percent in these examinations, several children passing French for which there are no teachers.

The arrest and detention of SCNC the activists by security forces came barely a week following the declaration made at the Bamenda Congress Hall and in Buea by government Ministers that any SCNC meeting in any public or private home should be crushed.

(Readers comment) We know what is happening here. La republique is going to harm these people (Yang, Ngute and co) and blame it on the Southern Cameroonians, so it can unleash its mass killer squads such as the Presby and killer military units that are being trained as we speak. Biya Warns SCNC Against October 1 Demonstrations.
He is quoted to have said during last week's ministerial council meeting that his government will no longer allow the SCNC to toy with the peace that Cameroonians enjoy today.

(Readers Comment) Remember that Paul Biya sent troops to destabilize the formation of the SDF in Bamenda, resulting in death and wanton destruction. Remember the persecution of Yondo Black for attempting to form a political party and of Mukong. Even after the SDF launched, the Biya government controlled CRTV denied to report the birth of a multiparty democracy – a grave disservice to country and people.

Date: Mon, 26 Sep 2005 09:43:11 -0700 (PDT)
Subject: Arrest of Executive Secretary General Mr. Thomas Nwachan
To: fdr_southerncameroonspeople@yahoogroup.com, nationalgroup@yahoogroups.com, noticeboard@yahoogroup.com, SCNC_holland@hotmail.com, inter_sec@scylforfreedom.org,

We write to further inform you that Mr. Nwachan is still being held incommunicado in the Bamenda Central Prison.  On the 9th of September, he appeared briefly before a magistrate, but there was no body to prosecute him since the Gendarmes who arrested him failed to present themselves in Court.  The matter was therefore adjourned for Friday the 16th September 2005.  On that day once more, the prosecutors and alleged witnesses did not come to Court.   Again the trial Magistrate adjourned the matter for Friday the 23rd September.  When the matter came up for hearing on the 23rd this time, both the Gendarme prosecutor, his witnesses and the trial Magistrate were absent in court, so the matter was adjourned for Friday the 30th September.  Now that the matter is suffering unjustified adjournments, it is not certain whether it would be heard on the 30th September or not.

From Newspaper publications and the pronouncements of top officials of the Biya’s Regime, it is now certain that members of the SCNC have been targeted for arrest and humiliation.  Mr. Thomas Nwachan is not the only SCNC activist who is in detention.  There are so many people targeted and arrested both in the South West and North West Provinces of the Southern Cameroons who are presently languishing in Prisons whose fait is not known and it appears many more people will be arrested in the days to come.  The regime has thus instilled fear in the people who are already sweating under the weight of terrible poverty.  The future is very uncertain.

The Regime is panicking principally from the fear that Southern Cameroons are likely to come out en mass to march and demonstrate on the 1st October, 2005.   Every year that is how  they panic and reign hell on innocent people who go about their daily toils to try to make a living because these people venture to speak out against the injustices meted out on them by a regime that they would very gladly want to be free from.

SCNC Scribe Accuses Gov't Of Intimidation.
National Assistant Secretary General of the SCNC, Charles Mbide Kude, has accused the government of intimidating innocent citizens of the Southern Cameroons.  Mbide, who spoke to The Post on Tuesday, September 20 in Limbe, said government's declared battle against the movement has been prompted by its woeful failure to buy off SCNC leaders.

Case of SCNC Detainees:Yaounde Court Declares Competence To Hear Appeal.
Citing the Military Tribunal and the Court of Appeals, the lawyers drove home their point that the Yaounde court has no right to entertain appeals concerning events that took place in the Northwest Province. Human rights lawyer, Barrister Harmony Bobga, said it was wrong in the first place to try the SCNC detainees in French, a language they do not understand.

How Cameroun Raped AMBAZONIA (Southern Cameroons ) Economy!
(Excerpt) How can the economy grow when a Cameroun Airline 747 plane is used to transport the Presidents son to America, while at the same time smuggling drugs and embezzled funds instead of carrying passengers? Think of another planeload of Paul Biya's extended family members for a three-month tour of Europe and other parts of the world! Today, Cameroun Airlines, once a giant parastatal has shrunk to only two to three planes - one for passengers, one for the President and another for his family members and tribesmen?

October 1 Fever
The Yaounde regime has cranked up its propaganda machinery in a clumsy attempt to downplay the event, and demonise the Southern Cameroons National Council, SCNC, which is spearheading the argument for the restoration of the territory's sovereignty.

To: Camerooninjustice@hotmail.com

DEAR GLENN,

As a Cameroonian living in Europe, I’m pleased to see your brave efforts in tackling the thug president and his tribe. Cameroon was one of the wealthiest countries in Africa. Now it’s a rump tinpot dictatorship, acting in the guise of a democracy. It’s not even a shadow of one. When I settled in Europe, I thanked God, because I couldn’t believe life could be so good. Instead of waiting for years for my wages, I got it every week. in Europe- that’s the law, and it is enforced. I have access to free health services, and payment if I can’t get work.

But recently I was able to travel to your country of Australia. I still get tears in my eyes when I think of its wealth, beauty, and most importantly, it’s courts and democracy. Imagine the Prime Minister of this vastly wealthy country of twenty million, lives in a modest house in Canberra. People can visit him with an appointment. He walks the streets with no more than a couple of unarmed assistants. Every morning he goes jogging around Sydney harbour, with just a couple of fellow joggers. People can walk up and shake hands with him.

Compare that to the fat fool in Unity palace. Gates dipped in gold, machine guns at every twenty metres. I remember the times I saw him going to Paris or other European cities to feed on the wealth of being a visiting president.

Yaounde will go quiet, sharpshooters are seen on city buildings, then with a roar, a vast cavalcade headed by a massive white car with a sign on it stating presidential escort, roars through, get out of the way, or be run over, then a motorcycle convoy, then several trucks of heavily armed troops, then a convoy of cars with darkened windows, presumably one carrying ‘him’ and an escort of more troops. All this to allow the fat fool from the palace to head off to party in Paris is his gold plated jet.

Meanwhile the Australian Prime Minister uses a modest air force jet, which is also available to other ministers, and visiting dignitaries including the Queen of England. And when he travels, he is going away on serious business, and has a busy schedule to cover. Not fat Paul’s usual appearance by television, of shaking hands with perhaps a former president of France. In fact I often wonder if he is still alive. Has anyone actually seen him? The last time he was supposed to attend parliament to speak to an array of parliamentary visitors, he didn’t make it. Once the great Mandela called off on his way to London, to be honoured by the world at large. He waited in his aircraft, but Biya didn’t show, he WAS ACTUALLY TOO DRUNK to appear. To demonstrate the Great Man’s class (Mandela), he called back on his way back home. Presumably Biya had gotten over his hangover by then.

So, compare this mess to the great democracies, where courts mean justice. The Australian Courts are acknowledged as of the equal highest standard in the world, and THE REAL STORY OF SUCCESS IS THAT IT IS THE SECOND BEST COUNTRY IN TERMS OF BEING CLEAR OF CORRUPTION! You see similar things every day in Europe, like in Australia, any official, including presidents or prime ministers, are accountable for their actions.

I dream of an Africa, cleaned of these tribal thugs, where honesty can take root. I dream of an Africa with hope for the 800 million people, to begin to live in modest conditions, where the country’s wealth belongs to the people, not a tribal thug and his cronies. Dare I dream? Alas, I think it will take centuries, and in the meantime I’ll live in Europe, grateful for the opportunity, and dream of the promised land,

Australia.…………(signed Jean….. Family name withheld)

P.s. I hope the barrister from the Buea court, who told outrageous lies about you, will read this. The things he claimed you had done would not be possible in Australia. Otherwise you would quickly be in gaol. That man would never get a visa to Australia, they don’t accept crooks.

Please, Inoni, head of government,

Before you try to tell people to come back and invest at home, create a conducive environment for them to invest.
Why should I leave Britain to invest in Cameroon where tax officials will harass me when they like and how they like?
Why should I invest where my company can be closed at anytime the Government likes to do so.
Why should I invest in a place where if my company is visited by robbers and I call the police they will tell me they don’t have petrol in their car to come, but they are on the highway taking 500frs from Clando and taxi drivers?

Please, look at what is keeping us out of Cameroon, before you tell us to come back.

Investor’s Corner

Many Cameroonians who thought in 1982 that Biya would take them to the land of promise are yet to come to terms with the corruption, tribalism, and wastefulness of the Biya regime. Due to unemployment and frustration, many youths have become highway robbers. Security is almost non-existent in the country. It is very normal for thieves to mug ordinary people in broad daylight. In many cases, even the police are incapable of intervening. It is even alleged that the weapons the criminals use to terrorize ordinary citizens are arms that have been given to them by the police and, in some cases, with the knowledge of police bosses. Cameroon, once an oasis of peace, is today a country ruled by gangsters; gangsters who sometimes enjoy the support of top government officials.  (Opinion - name removed)
