Street Fighter Biographies

Here are some short bios of the main Street Fighter characters from the anime and the games. I'll add more soon

Ryu

Ryu is probably the most commonly known Street Fighter. He is also the main character of all the SF anime. And in the games he seems to be the center of attention. He is a shotokan karate master who was trained under Master Gouken. He trainde with his best friend Ken when he was younger. Ryu learned many awesome techniques, like the Hadouken, and the Shoryuken. Probably the strongest character in SF, Ryu loves to fight. But if you were that strong I'm sure you'd love to fight too. Some of Ryu's enemies are: Vega (M. Bison in america), Gouki (Akuma in america), and Gill. Ryu has short dark brown hair, wears a white karate gi, and a red headband.

Ken

Ken, another main character also was trained under Gouken and studied the art of shotokan. He is best friends with Ryu, who he'd love to spar with. Ken has kind of long blonde hair and wears a red karate gi. The plot in the anime series always revolve around him and Ryu. Ken has appeared in almost every SF game ever! He also has some sweet techniques: Like the Hadouken, and Shinryuken. Ken is more of a down to earth guy, unlike Ryu (who seems to be reserved and sophisticated). Ken is probably the 2nd strongest SF.

Chun Li

Chun Li is another character that the Street Fighter series can't live without. She is an amazing fighter and most of her fighting deals with kicks. Her sweetest attack is her Kikou-Shou, Which is a big ball of energy. Like Ryu and Ken, she has been there since the beginning of SF. Chun Li usually wears her hair up in buns and wears a chinese outfit that is very skimpy. She is the most powerful of the girl Street Fighters and is probably everyone's favorite girl SF.

Gouki (Akuma)

Gouki is Ryu's main arch rival. He's been a round a long time, which is wierd for a bad guy. Usually the bad guys die in one "saga". But Gouki has been there for a long time. Gouki is also a shotokan karate master. He is evil and uses the "dark hadou" for his power. Ryu has not yet defeated Gouki and I think Gouki is stronger than Ryu! Gouki has red spiky hair, and evil face and a dark blue karate gi. You wouldn't want to mess with this guy!

Yun & Yang

These two young chinese men are my favorite characters. They are brothers who are extremely skilled in the martial arts (specifically Kung Fu). In my opinion their fighting style is the most interesting and coolest I've seen. They both have lightning fast attacks that are very deadly. Yun loves to skateboard, while Yang, I believe, does inline skating. Yun has long black hair, which he braids in the back, a cool chinese fighting outfit, and a skateboard hat, which he wears all the time. Yun has brown hair that is long in the front, and wears a outfit similar to Yun's. They are both really strong, but not nearly as strong as Ryu.

Sean

Sean is a brazilian boy who was trained by Ken. His fighting style is a mix between shotokan and his own made up style. Sean is kind of reckless, but never the less a very deadly fighter. He loves to play basketball and he wears a yellow karate gi, and has his short hair in dreadlocks. He is has no where near the strength of Ken, but is still a very cool and interesting fighter. His coolest attack, in my opinion, is the Sean Tackle.
