SAIYAN SAGA

When this saga begins, we are introduced to Gohan, Gokou's five year old son. Meanwhile, Raditz lands on Earth to try to find Gokou. Raditz finds him and tells him he is Raditz, Gokou's older brother and asks Gokou to join the Saiyans in their quest for universal domination. When Gokou refuses, Raditz kidnaps Gohan to force Gokou to join him. However, Gokou decides that he will get Gohan back by killing Raditz. Piccolo joins forces with Goku and they begin fighting Raditz. While Piccolo gathers the energy to do a makankosappo, Gokou stalls time. He eventually gets ahold of Raditz and Piccolo lets his makankosappo go and hits both Raditz and Gokou, killing Gokou. Kuririn finds the warriors and laughs that about how they can just bring Gokou back to life by using the Dragonballs. Raditz uses his scouter to radio the news about the Dragonballs back to Vegeta and Nappa and dies.

When Gohan headbutted Raditz in the fight, Piccolo, realizing Gohan's potential, decides to take it upon himself to train Gohan. Meanwhile, Gokou is sent on a journey through Snake Way to receive training from Kaiosama and the rest of the Z warriors are gathered to receive training from Kamisama.

One year later, Nappa and Vegeta arrive on Earth to find the Dragonballs and be granted the wish of immortality. The Z warriors find Nappa and Vegeta and they begin to fight. They fight against saibamen, which Vegeta and Nappa grow. The gang kills them all, but lose Yamucha in the battles against the Saibamen. Now the warriors concentrate on Nappa while Vegeta watches in the background. In a series of battles, Chaozu dies when he sacrifices himself in an attempt to blow up Nappa, Tenshinhan dies when he uses all his strength trying to kill Nappa with a one handed kikoho, and Piccolo dies when he takes a blast from Nappa for Gohan. Eventually Gokou shows up and begins fighting Nappa. Nappa, seeing that he is being beaten, tries to retreat. Gokou pursues him and does a Kaiyoken, snapping Nappa's spine. Nappa asks Vegeta to help him. But instead Vegeta throws Nappa into the air and kills him with one fireball.

Then all the rest of the Z Warriors against Vegeta. Vegeta sees that the odds are against him, so he makes a fake moon and turns into his Oozaru form (a giant ape-like creature). He starts beating up on every one (especially Gokou, he gets wasted) until his tail is cut off by Yajirobe. Gokou forms a Genki Dama and gives it to Kuririn, because Gokou is to weak to throw it. Kuririn misses but Gohan deflects back toward Vegeta and it hits him. But Vegeta survives the blast. Meanwhile, Gohan sees the fake moon, transforms into his Oozaru form and starts kicking Vegeta around until his tail is cut off by Vegeta. Gohan shrinks back to normal size and lands right on top of Vegeta. Weary and beaten, Vegeta crawls back to his spaceship and leaves. The Z warriors rejoice at their victory... Well, kind of a victory.

FREEZA SAGA

The saga begins as Freeza goes in search of the Dragonballs on Planet Namek. Buruma also discovers that there are Dragonballs on Namek but it would take thousands of years to get there. Mr. PoPo appears and tells them about the ship that Piccolo and Kami used to travel to Earth. With the faster spaceship, Buruma, Kuririn, and Gohan set out on a journey to Namek to bring back their dead friends Tenshinhan, Yamucha, and Chaozu, but arrive on an abandoned planet made to look like Namek. After a while, they figure out that it is a fake planet, leave, and finally arrive on the real Namek. However, just as they reach there, they discover that both Vegeta and Freeza, with his henchmen, have arrived. All are after the Dragonballs, each for their own purposes.

Gokou later travels to Namek after recovering from the fight against Vegeta. During his trip, he trains at fifty times Earth's gravity and then one hundred times Earth's gravity. Meanwhile, Vegeta begins to fight against Freeza's henchmen. He first kills Kui that Freeza sends out. Then he fights Dodoria and defeats him. After that fight he fights with Zarbon. At first, it looks as if Vegeta will win easily. Then Zarbon turns into his second form and almost kills Vegeta. Surviving the fight, Vegeta gets stronger and in the second fight with Zarbon, he defeats Zarbon easily. Vegeta joins up with Kuririn and Gohan only to ensure that Gokou is around so he can kill him. Vegeta also wants the Dragonballs.

Freeza then calls on Ginyu Team to Kill Vegeta, Gohan, and Kuririn. Gohan and Kuririn fight Gurudo first, but Vegeta winds up killing Gurudo after Gohan and Kuririn get in trouble. Vegeta is then beaten by Rikuum and Gohan and Kuririn try, but are also beaten. Gokou then shows up and defeats Rikuum, Baata, and Jisu. When fighting Ginyu, Gokou has his body switched into Ginyu's. After more fighting, Gokou gets his body back. Then, Ginyu tries to swap bodies with Vegeta, but Gokou throws a frog in his path and Ginyu is turned into a frog. Then the fight against Freeza takes place. Then there are a series of battles. It looks as though. The Z team might lose. Freeza goes through 3 transformations to reach his perfect form. In one of the battles, Kuririn is killed and Goku gets so angry that he turns into his Super Saiyan form for the first time. He severely beats Freeza, but Namek is about to blow up, because Freeza shot a fireball into Namek. The Dragonballs are used to wish every back who died as a result of Freeza. Then, everyone on Namek except Frieza and Goku are teleported to Earth with another wish. Namek blows up and everyone thinks Goku is dead, but Gokou goes to planet Yardrat and learns the ability to teleport. Meanwhile, Freeza's father, King Cold learns about Freeza's defeat and sends minions out to reassemble Freeza's body. Freeza tells his father about Gokou but Cold doesn't believe him and still thinks that he is the universe's strongest warrior.

GARLIC JR. SAGA

This saga isn't that popular but I thought I could still add it in. The series starts off with Garlic Jr. getting enough power from then Maceo Star to break out of the Dead Zone. Then Garlic Jr. and his henchmen take over Kami's Lookout. They turn Kami and Popo into miniature versions of themselves and put them in little bottles. Then he releases the black water mist and everyone but Piccolo, Gohan and Kuririn get infected and turn evil. They go to the Kame House for a party, but they don't realize their friends have been infected by the black water mist. Piccolo fights a bit with their friends and then some with Garlic Jr.'s henchmen but gets bitten and pretends to be infected. That happens while Gohan, and Kuririn go to the Lookout and try to stop Garlic Jr. Garlic Jr.'s henchmen get there and fight Gohan and Kuririn. Kuririn gets hurt and Gohan gets so mad he kills 2 of the 4 henchmen with his two Masenkos. Then they release the "infected" Piccolo. Piccolo fights Gohan and pretty much beats the crap out of Gohan. Then Piccolo pretends to bite Kuririn and actually tells Kuririn that he is not infected and tells Kuririn to play along. Piccolo only wants to get closer to Garlic Jr. to get Kami and PoPo. Then Piccolo and Kuririn start fighting with Gohan and when Piccolo is about to "kill" Gohan, Garlic Jr. says he wants to kill him and then Piccolo gives up the act and reaches for Kami and Popo that Garlic Jr. had. They free Kami and Popo and the Z guys start fighting Garlic Jr. and his Henchmen. Popo and Kami are going to take the holy water to the air currents place at the bottom of the lookout. Meanwhile Kuririn gets hurt and Gohan gets mad and kills the last 2 henchmen. Kami and Popo have trouble with past Gods but eventually get to the place and spread the holy water to all the people of Earth in time so they wouldn't stay evil forever. Meanwhile the Z warriors begin to battle Garlic Jr. that has already transformed. Eventually they get Garlic Jr. to make another dead zone and Gohan pushes Garlic Jr. into it. And everything is back to normal.

TRUNKS SAGA

Freeza, King Cold, and their henchmen land on earth and seek revenge and to destroy Earth. Suddenly, an adult Trunks appears out of nowhere, turns Super Saiyan, and annihilates the henchmen. Then Trunks easily defeats Freeza Bot and King Cold. Gokou comes back from space and everyone greets him. Trunks tells Gokou that he is Vegeta and Buruma's future son and that he was sent back in time with a medicine to prevent Gokou's death so that the future is not in chaos. He also tells of the androids that will appear in three years and everyone vows to train hard until then.

CELL SAGA

This saga starts off as Dr. Gero plots his revenge against Gokou. He starts off by creating Android #19 to destroy Gokou. Dr. Gero later asks Android #19 to make him into a robot so that he would be stronger, and he becomes Android #20! The Z Warriors meet with Androids #19 and #20 and fight. Gokou leaves the battle because the heart disease that Trunks told him about starts to hit him. Vegeta faces Android #19 and, to everyone's astonishment, turns Super Saiyan. Dr. Gero's plot fails and Android #19 is destroyed. Dr. Gero retreats back to his laboratory.

Android #20 then unleashes two of his other creations, Android #17 and Android #18. Androids #17 and #18 get annoyed of Dr. Gero. As a result, they kill Dr. Gero. Android #17 and Android #18 leave the lab and unleash Android #16. But as it turns out, Android #16 is a peaceful android. As time passes, the Z Warriors become aware of the new androids as they battle again and again but always reach a stalemate. However, the Z Warriors are still not match for the androids because the androids are robots, and therefore do not tire in a long battle while the Z Warriors eventually run out of energy. Meanwhile, Piccolo fuses with Kami to become stronger. Dende, a Namek child, replaces Kami as guardian of the dragonballs.

Androids #16, #17, and #18 go to seek Gokou to destroy him. Back in Dr. Gero's lab, Imperfect Cell, who came from back in time from Trunks time machine starts recking haveck on Gingertown. Piccolo finds Cell and fights him. Cell, knowing he can't beat Piccolo and retreats. Piccolo then fights Android 17, but both are evenly matched. Cell flies to find Androids #17 and #18. On his way devours the souls of the unlucky civilians he passes to become stronger. Finally, he meets with the other androids and Piccolo. To our heroes' surprise, they learn that Androids #17 and #18 know nothing about Cell. Cell and Android #17 threaten to kill each other. Android #17 heads out to fight him. But, he does not stand up to Cell and is easily defeated. This is when our heroes learn the great powers of Cell. Android #18 is now worried, but Android #16 flies out to fight Cell. To everybody's amazement, Android #16 is able to stand up to Cell. However, he is still destroyed. Cell now heads for his goal and devours Android #17 with his tail. Cell now changes into Cell-Form 2. With the power of Android #17 combined to his, he becomes stronger than ever. Then, he heads over to devour Android #18. Tenshinhan steps in and blast Cell with a Kikoho to keep Cell from absorbing Android #18. Vegeta and Trunks fight Cell a bit and Vegeta beats the crap out of Cell. Cell tells Vegeta to let him aabsorb #18 so he'll be a better challenge. Vegeta agrees. Cell finds #18 and devours her. Cell now changes into Cell-Form 3, and becomes "Perfect Cell", after devouring the souls of so many people, is no longer an android and becomes organic. Vegeta fights Perfect Cell, but loses. Cell tells the Z gang he will have the "Cell Game" in ten days. so the Z gang trains hard in the room of spirit and time.

After Cell is gone, Buruma collects the body parts of Android #16 and repairs him. But, he is re-programmed to fight on the Z Warriors' side. The days have passed and our heroes now head out to fight Cell in the Cell game. Mr. Satan and his "disciples" fight Cell first and are wooped. Gokou then fights Cell to show Gohan how Cell fights. After Gokou finishes fighting he tells Cell to fight Gohan, because he has a secret power. Gohan gets wooped at first. Cell sees the other Z warriors doing nothing so he produces 7 Cell Juniors, young, blue duplicates of Cell. After a few more battles, Gohan watches Cell crush #16 and Gohan gets so angry he reaches Super Saiyan level 2. He then destroys all the Cell Juniors. In one of the battles that follows, Cell is kicked and Android #18 is spit back out. Cell turns back into form 2 and is defeated. But, he activates his self destruction mode so that when he dies, the world will blow up with him. To save the Earth, Goku teleports Cell out of Earth and into Kaio's planet, where Cell blows up. Thus, Gokou, Kaiosama, Bubbles, and Kaio's grasshopper, Gregory, die as well.

The Z Warriors mourn the loss of Goku, but at the same time they cheer at the victory over Cell. Unexpectedly, a fireball flies out of nowhere and pierces through Trunks. Upon Trunks' death, Cell, in form 3, appears. He tells that when he blew up, a brain cell survived. From the cell, other cells multiplied and he was once again formed. Cell happily laughs as he tells that he is amazed he is able to rebuild himself into form 3! Then, Cell threatens to destroy the earth. Vegeta tries to take on Cell, but is knocked down in one blow. Cell fires a shot at him that would have killed him, but Gohan rushes over and takes the blow, injuring his arm. For the first time ever, Vegeta apologizes. Now it was up to Gohan to try to save Earth. With one arm, Gohan prepares a Kamehameha. Cell fires a kamehameha and Gohan fires a kamehameha back at Cell. Both hold a long time still firing their kamehamehas, but with Kaio's help, Gokou is able to talk to Gohan and encourages him. With the help of the now dead Kaio, Gokou, also dead, is able to communicate with Gohan and tells him to use all his power to defeat Cell. Meanwhile, Kuririn, Yamucha, Tenshinhan, Piccolo and Vegeta attack Cell because they don't want to die without putting up a decent fight against Cell. They don't do much until Vegeta shoots a big blast at Cell, distracting. This gives Gohan a chance to use all of his energy to overpower Cell's kamehamehe. Cell is disintegrated by Gohan's Kamehameha. But, Mr. Satan takes credit for Cell's death and lies to the reporters.

At the end, the warriors gather the Dragonballs to bring those killed by Cell back to life. However, Gokou is still dead because he was already brought back to life once and cannot come back again, but tells that he is okay and is now with Kaio. So they wish for the bombs in the androids to be taken out. Android #18 awakens and flees. However, everybody learns here that Kuririn has developed a crush on Android #18!

BUU SAGA

The final saga of Dragon Ball Z starts off with Goku competing in a fighting tournament in one of the four Kaio's planet. The result is that Gokou ties with his worthy opponent. Meanwhile, Gohan is training Goten in martial arts while Vegeta trains Trunks. Both Gohan and Vegeta are surprised at how strong Goten and Trunks are as they turn into their Super Saiyan form at such a young age. Gohan also has a girlfriend (Satan's daughter Videl).

Later, Gohan, a hero who has achieved the identity as the Great Saiyaman, attends a tournament. When it is the Great Saiyaman's turn to compete, he turns into his Super Saiyan form and his disguise is blown off. Everyone is amazed that a nerd, Gohan, is the Great Saiyaman. All of a sudden, Spopovitch and Yaboo come out of nowhere and absorb Gohan's energy into a "lamp" to revive Buu. Kaioshin and his partner, trying to prevent Babidi's and Darbura's plot to reactivate Buu, allow this to happen so that he could follow the energy stealers to their hideout. (Babidi's goal is to destroy all life just for the fun of it.) But, he revives Gohan first. The Saiyan warriors decide to go as well. A fight follows. Darbura turns Kuririn and Piccolo into stone and Kaioshin's partner is killed. The Z warriors learn that Kuririn and Piccolo will return to normal once Darbura dies. In battle, Vegeta is turned into Babidi's slave and an "M" appears on Vegeta's forehead. His energy is used to reactivate Buu. Buu betrays Darbura and eats him. Thus, Piccolo and Kuririn are returned to normal. Majin Vegeta beats Gokou, and then goes to fight Buu. Upon failing, Vegeta self-destructs and dies. Afterwards, Buruma gathers the Dragonballs to revive all those killed since the fighting tournament. Gohan also heads to Kaioshin's planet, pulls out the Z sword, and trains under Dai Kaioshin. Goten and Trunks train as well to get stronger. From Piccolo and Kuririn, they learn the art of fusion to fuse to become one, becoming Gotenks!

However, our heroes are still no match for Buu. Although Darbura's, the Prince of Darkness (Babidi's associate who looks like a devil), and Babidi's other minions are killed, Buu gets stronger. Buu later revolts against his master (Babidi) and kills him. Before their deaths, the villainous Babidi and Darbura have cast a spell that turned Vegeta evil. However, in addition with fighting against Gokou, the evil Vegeta also fought Buu. Although defeated by Buu, Vegeta later turns good again. It is here that Vegeta finally officially becomes one of the good guys. (In previous times, Vegeta only aids our heroes to assure that Gokou lives long enough for him to kill him. But, he never attempted to kill Gokou since the early battle against him in the Saiyan saga. Next, Buu separates into two forms-one good and the other evil. Evil Buu defeats good Buu, turns the him into a cookie, and eats him. From this method, the evil Buu gains the good Buu's powers and changes into a stronger form. Buu, previously fat, is now skinnier and taller, not to mention a lot stronger. Gotenks is also stronger; he is now able to turn into Super Saiyan stage 3, like Gokou. But, he is still defeated on one of his encounters with Buu and Buu engulfs SSJ3 Gotenks. Thus, Buu absorbed Gotenks' powers and becomes stronger again. He changes form again! (His "antennae" grows longer and he now wears a black vest like Gotenks'.) Piccolo is also defeated and eaten by Buu. Meanwhile, Gohan had mastered the Z sword and learned how to use his hidden powers without getting angry under training with Dai Kaioshin. (He does not turn into his Super Saiyan form for the rest of the series at this point.) Unfortunately, he too is defeated and engulfed. Buu, now with Gohan's powers, changes form again. (He now looks like he's wearing Gohan's clothes.) With the other warriors defeated, only Gokou and Vegeta are left to battle against Buu!

Gokou is still dead and watches the fight through Kaioshin's crystal ball. Seeing the unfortunate odds for our heroes, Dai Kai-shin sacrifices he life to Gokou and dies. Goku's halo disappears, and Dai Kaioshin wakes back up with a halo over his head. Now, Gokou teleports into the battle. Vegeta, still dead, is also sent into battle by the judge of death. Gokou acquired a pair of special earrings from the Kai-shins that when each one is worn by different people, the two will permanently fuse. With Gokou wearing one of the earrings and Vegeta wearing the other, the two are pulled together and fused into Vegetto. At Vegetto's turn to fight Buu, Buu seems to be of no match to Vegetto, but Vegetto purposely gets eaten by Buu to save the other Z warriors. This canceled the effects of the permanent fusion in Vegetto and he changes back into Gokou and Vegeta.

Next, Buu undergoes another form change and temporarily becomes very muscular as he stands still in pain through the form change. Gokou and Vegeta are now inside of Buu's organs. They find Trunks, Goten, Gohan, and Piccolo, and rescue them by carrying them out of one of Buu's pores. As they leave Buu, the warriors grow bigger and are restored to their normal size. Fat Buu, the good Buu, also escapes from Buu's body. The evil Buu, still "puffy" and bulky, is undergoing his form change to restore to his original form. (The Kaioshins cursed him into his previous fat looking form for destroying their people.) Afterwards, he is little and short. Next, evil Buu does a giant fireball and blows up Earth!!! Luckily, Gokou had enough time and teleported himself and his comrades to another planet. Later, the Namek Dragonballs are gathered and a wish is made to restore the earth. The little Buu also met with the fat Buu. They fight, but the good Buu is once again defeated.

Eventually, Gokou and Vegeta are later fighting Buu. Vegeta stalls Buu as Gokou gathers the energy to do a super Genki Dama. While Vegeta is getting kicked around by Buu, Piccolo, Gohan, Goten, and Trunks are on earth trying to convince the earthlings to raise their hands so that their energy will be given to aid Gokou strengthen his Genki Dama. Because no one on earth listens to the heroes, a new approach is taken. Satan is contacted for help. Because of his fame, he goes into public and raises his hands. All of his fans, everyone on Earth, raise their hands too to show their appreciation to Satan. With everyone's hand raised, energy is transferred to Gokou and now he has enough power to destroy Buu. With a single Genki Dama, Buu is destroyed.

At the end, the fat Buu, who was beaten unconscious, awakens and enters our heroes' side. Ten years pass. Goten and Trunks are now teenagers. Gohan married Videl and now has a 5 year old daughter, Pan. Gokou wished to fight the evil Buu all over again, so he wished for the reincarnation of the Buu. Buu, now Uub, is reincarnated (and not evil anymore) and Gokou says he will train him. And DBZ ends with Gokou and Uub flying off to train. The End!!!
