The following is a list of prominent places in Aleister Cove. Please feel free to use or even add to this list by contacting the moderator. I will post new locations as they become available.

Jackson Thorpe Investigations - Right in the center of town along main street, this is the place that Jackson "JT" Thorpe works out of, but it is also his home. As you enter the front door of the large building, you come into the receptionist's office where Darlene Frank will be more than happy to help you. JT's office is just off to the left of her desk. On the wall facing the front door is another door leading to a modest size warehouse. One will immediately notice the one-on-one basketball court, weight training area and the spiral staircase which leads upstairs to JT's Home. Along the wall adjacent to you is the door leading to the two car garage. You'll also notice that the ceiling of the building is aluminum, which helps to heat the place on any sunny day.

The Waterhouse Estate - The Waterhouse Estate lies at the northern most point of the town, adjacent to the cemetary. This is the home of JT's Uncle, Lord Clive Waterhouse. The main building is vast, holding up to 30 bedrooms and several baths, large kitchen and dining area, study, main hall, and two libraries; one of which is pretty standard fair, the other, more secret, library housing all of Lord Clive's occult tomes. The most unique feature here, however, is the aviary/greenhouse built onto the main building. The interior is a gardeners dream of flowers, trees and greenery, but the most impressive sight here is the tiled marble flooring done in black with alternating patterns of white and red forming a pentagram. This is Lord Clive's sanctum where he performs his rituals.

St. Joan's Hospital - St. Joan's Hospital, located on the east side of highway 101, is the site of two buildings, St. Joan's Medical Hospital and St. Joan's Psychiactric Hospital. Dr. Frederick Oates runs both with an iron fist. It is in the psychiatric ward were resides the former Mrs. Christine Haskell, rumor has it that after the Cannibal Wives' Club incident and her forced commital to St. Joan's, Christine developed the gift of prophecy.

The Local Constabulary (Police Department) - Just north along Main Street lies the home of Aleister Cove's finest. The station is small, but it's more than adequate for the town's needs. It hosts not only the Chief, Gary Holleran, but ten police officers, four patrol cars, two patrol bikes, two dispatchers, and two crime scene investigators.

The Coroner's Office - The County Coroner's Office lies about a block east of the Constabulary. This is the workplace of, most notably, Dr. Mel Wesley and Benny the Night Guard. This where the bodies pile up.

The Seaside Inn - This bed and breakfast lies just to the west of town along the coastline. It is the premier bed and breakfast out of the three local estsblishments, thanks in large part to the owner, Connie Frank. It does't hurt that she's one hell of a cook either.

Josie's Bar and Grill - Josie's is an institution in Aleister Cove. Smack dab in the middle of town, Josie's was first established back in 1965 by Joe MacNamara, who named the place after his firstborn daughter right after her birth. Seems he picked the name right, as Josie was the one who took it over after Joe passed away in 1992. Josie has kept the place as her father did, a place of good family dining throughout the day, and the number one bar after dark. The food is excellent, thanks to her cook, Glenn Pierson. His food is excellent, but the word around town is never compliment the chef, it annoys him.

Pete's Coffee - This coffee shop is everything Starbuck's claims to be. Pete has been the proprietor for over 40 years and makes the richest coffee in the West hands down.

Alta High School - This is the only high school in town just south along the city's border. Built right up against the woods near the river and not far from the cove itself, Alta, though small for it's size is state of the art and very modern, thanks to very large donations from the Waterhouse Estate. It is also home to the currently undefeated Alta Eagles football team.

The Warehouse District - The Warehouse district lies to the southwest along California's coastline and veering into the heart of the cove to the south, the warehouse district is a major stopping point for cargo, but it is also home to one of the finest fisheries in Northern Californina. Rumor has it that the entire district may be haunted as strange occurances here seem to be on the rise.

Aleister Cove Memorial Lawn Cemetary - Where the dead go to be at peace, this cemetary, located north of the town and just east of the Waterhouse Estate, is anything but peaceful. Strange noises and shadows lurk amongst the tombstones, shrines, and masoleums. If you must visit at night, don't visit alone. The constabulary has a missing persons file a mile long for events in this general vicinity.

The After Dark Club - This club is the place to be among the younger crowds. It is exclusive and very difficult to get into. Despite this, the place is always packed with young men and women, and flashing neon and strobe lights shine brightly while the techno music blares unendingly. Located in the warehouse district, it was once under the ownership of the necromancer, Devin Toranado, and closed shortly after his disappearance. It has since been reopened under new ownership; the vampire, Arianna de Morney

Tebbit's Movie Theater - This small theater has been around since the forties. It houses two screens and was recently refurbished thanks to a sizable donation from Jackson Thorpe. Currently it runs first run movies Friday through Sunday, and classic black and white films the rest of the week.

The Library - The town's local library boasts a modest collection of popular books and titles, but the library also hosts the town's archives, containing all of the Aleister Cove's records and historical documents. The librarian, Daphne Reynolds, is a pretty lady who is only too happy to help whenever patrons come in for help. The library also has one other permanent resident. A ghost who goes by the name of Jaspar.

Oddities & More - This antique store recently moved into town. All manner of antiques are available here, but the store's most prominent feature is a large collection of rare books. The proprietor, Dafydd Morgan, is always happy to help find that one, indispensable rarity.

The Markham House - Several years ago, the Markhams passed away, leaving their home to their only daughter, Julianna. She has returned to claim the home, but things are not the way her parents had left them. A malevolent force has made the Markham house its new home.
