Dark Cove is an online roleplaying game of storytelling set in a small seaside village called Aleister Cove. It lies just south of the Oregon Border in California off of Highway 101. It is a quiet town, bordered by mountains to the east, Forests to the north and south, and ocean to the west. Hell, if it wasn't for the highway, Aleister Cove would be completely cut off from the rest of the world.

It is a peaceful place to live, a nice slice of Americana, if you will. The people are pleasant and friendly, and always up for a bit of gossip on a nice afternoon...

Some time ago, darkness slowly began to creep into the sleepy town.

Unknowable and unseen at first, the first hints of its presence are slowly beginning to be registered. The monsters have come, and they crave flesh. They crave souls. They beckon from the grave...

But there is hope. Within this small town is an elite team of monster hunters headed by Jackson Thorpe, of Jackson Thorpe Investigations. He is part of a long line of hunters, practitioners of the Pagan Arts whose sole purpose in life is putting an end to the spawn of evil.

Too bad he doesn't want the job...
