Hanson Road Rules

My name is Jaxsper Finn. Last summer I met Taylor Hanson. We fell in love with each other, and pledged to always be together. Something happened and now he is gone from my life. It would take a miracle to get him back, and I belive in miracles with all my heart.

CHAPTER 18

"I know what you're thinking," I said to Taylor and we walked to the vending machine in hotel.

"You do?" he answered.

"Yeah, you're thinking that I'm not thinking about it. But, just because I'm not talking about it, doesn't mean that I’m not thinking about it."

"Thinking about what?" Taylor said with a smile on his face.

"About....you know....what you asked me to do. The whole......marriage thing," I sputtered. God, I still had a hard time saying the words.

Taylor and I reached the vending machine. It was outside the main hotel building, down by the pool. Not the most glamorous breakfast. Just enough to tide us over until Quick and Zac woke up, then we would find a restaurant or something. We were starving. I had forgotten how....physical things could get with Taylor and I. We sure worked up an appetite last night. Now I knew how Taylor stayed so thin. At least he and I woke up at the same time, that was a plus. He was usually up hours before me. I made it a point to fall asleep on top of him, trapping him and holding him close. There was no way my lover was getting up before me this time.

"Jaxsper, it's ok if you have a hard time saying it. Marriage is a really big step. I know what you're feeling. I said I would wait, and I will wait. Of course, if I was the paranoid type, I would say that you're trying to avoid the subject."

"Of course not! Avoid it? Like I'm really trying to avoid....s-s-saying those words," I answered.

I looked inside of the vending machine and said, "Have you ever noticed how they sell sandwiches inside of these things? I mean, who is the idiot who buys a sandwich from a vending machine? And who restocks them? That thing is probably ancient!"

"I'm so glad that you're not trying to avoid it, Jaxsper. I'm happy about that." Tay said as he kissed me, his eyes shining. "I'm just so happy to have you back in my life, Jax. When you were gone, I was a mess. I love you Jaxsper, and I just want us to be together forever. I know we can't because of my Mom and yours and all that stuff but, at least if we're married, I will know that you will never be far from my heart."

"Zac. Zac! Get up." Quick said as he shook the sleeping boy.

"Five more minutes, ok Mom?" Zac answered dreamily.

Quick sighed. This kid had kept him up all night, jumping on the bed, watching TV, talking, making Quick type more and more of the story of Jaxsper and Taylor. Now the late night was taking it's revenge on Zac. Why shouldn't Quick get a piece of that revenge too?

Quick lifted a glass of water just above Zac's head and let it trickle down, slowly. The water bounced against Zac's cheek and ran down to his lips. It took Zac a minute to register what was happening, then he was up like he was shot from a cannon.

"Whoa!" he yelled as he sprang from the bed, a blur of blond hair, laughter and pale skin.

Quick stifled a laugh and reminded Zac of the plan. Jaxsper and Taylor were down by the pool right now. It was time to act.

Zac said, "Ok, get the camera. I'll put some pants on and join you, but first I gotta see a man about a piss." and with that he disappeared into the bathroom.

Taylor selected a Snickers bar.

As he unwrapped it, I asked, "Taylor, you know we haven't really talked about it. You said you were a mess when I was gone. Believe me, I felt the same way myself. I know that you and Sage......well, you know, went out.... but Tay last night, when you and I were together you acted strange. Like you were nervous or scared of something. Taylor, did I do something wrong? Are you afraid I would hurt you? Did something happen? You can trust me, and you can tell me.”

Taylor’s normally strong body slumped just a bit. I’d seen him like this only once before, last summer when we were in the record executive’s office at Mercury. He tries to be so strong, but I know that inside there’s a little boy who wants to be protected.

I took Taylor by the hand and led him over to one of the deck chairs by the pool. We sat down, and I caressed his face, looking into his eyes.

I said, “You don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to, Taylor. It’s ok. But, I want you to know that we’re partners as well as lovers. That means that I am on your side in good times and bad. If something is wrong, if someone is bothering you, just tell me. I’ll be there for you, always.”

Taylor bit his lip and looked down at the ground. He told me everything that happened to him during the time we were apart. He told how desperate he felt when he thought he had lost me. He told me about how he had turned to Sage, and the things that Sage had done. Some of it was hard to hear, but to me it was as if he were speaking of some other Taylor Hanson, and that made it easier to take. I held him in my arms and stroked his hair lightly. He told me not to worry about it. It was in the past. What mattered was the here and now, and making up for lost time. I asked him if there was anything I could do, and assured him that we would never be apart again.

“I love you, Jax,” Taylor said, “and I am so happy that things are better between us.”

“My life is better since I met you, Taylor,” I told him. “It’s better because I love you and I know that you love me back. Last summer we enjoyed a lifetime together and now it’s even better. I know that we only have these short weeks together, but I want you to know that even when we’re apart, I will never stop loving you. Never. I’ll try to be with you as much as I can Taylor, but whatever happens never forget we got something wonderful. We got a second chance tell each other how deep in love we are.”

Taylor looked up from where I held him to my chest. His eyes sparkled. How could I ever say no to this boy? I love him with every atom of my being, with every ounce of my soul. I licked my lips, then kissed my Taylor.

“Are you in position, Private?” Zac said as he peeked through the bushes.

“Private? What’s with the ‘private’ stuff?” Quick asked.

The boys had exited their hotel and were now crouched behind some bushes, looking over at Jaxsper and Taylor sitting in a chair by the pool.

“Don’t ask questions, soldier. This is a military mission. We’re in stealth mode, soldier, and don’t question your commanding officer, Private.”

“Yes, General,” Quick said. “Mind telling me why you’re the general and I’m just the private though?”

“Hey, you’re gay aren’t you, Quick? I figure you guys are all about the privates. Now then, I see our quarry, Private. Got the camera? Zoom in on them.”

______________________________

I broke the kiss, maybe a little to early for Taylor’s tastes, but I had to ask him a question.

“So, uh...how about it?” I stammered.

“How about it? How about what?” Taylor answered, knowing exactly what I meant.

“You know what I'm talking about. I'm talking about making it official. Look, I better say this before I lose my nerve. Taylor Hanson, will you....marry me?”

He laughed right out loud, his smile stretching across his face, his eyes shining.

“Yes!” he said, laughing, “Yes I will marry you, Jax. Are you sure about this?”

“Sure, I'm sure about this.” I answered. “I am absolutely sure about this.”

Taylor laughed again. There was no way he was going to let me get off the hook that easily. He was going to make sure that he got me to totally embarrass myself all in the name of my love for him.

“Well,” he said, “You haven’t exactly had an easy time saying that you want to marry me. I just want to make sure that when the time comes you won’t be too embarrassed to say ‘I do’. We can’t have that. I want everyone to know that you love me, Jax.”

“You want everyone to know that? I'll tell you what, you can set this wedding up, you can invite everyone you know to this wedding. All your fans. Everyone. And I will say whatever you want me to say. I will tell them all that I love Taylor Hanson.”

“Stop kidding,” Tay said as he poked me in the ribs.

“I'm not kidding. Everyone!”

Taylor kissed me again. Is it possible that this kiss could pack more emotion than any other one before? God, I love Taylor. I know that I made the right choice.

“If you insist,” he said, kissing me again. That’s the way Taylor kisses. He follows a nice, deep kiss with a little peck at the end, sort of like his signature on a masterpiece.

“Oh I insist. You can invite all of them, every last one of them. Now, if you will excuse me, I have to go back to our room and finish packing before we go to breakfast with Quick and Zac.”

As soon as I rounded the corner, I thought to myself, “What am I doing? What got into me? My Mom? Everyone?! Oh well, it’s not like we can every really get married. It’s just words, right?” Even though I questioned it, I knew that I made the right choice.

Taylor literally jumped into the air as soon as Jax left. He thought he saw something shiny out of the corner of his eye, over by the bushes.

“Shit,” Zac exclaimed “I think he saw us. Did you get it? Did you get what Jax said? Man, you better have gotten it. Jax couldn’t have said it better if he tried. It’s almost like he’s in on the plan!”

Quick looked over at Zac and said, “Yeah I got it. Let’s get back to the room before Taylor spots us for sure.

The two boys crawled out from behind the bushes and high tailed it back to their room, the video camera in tow.

Taylor pretended not to notice, but he knew. There was no mistaking that mop of blond hair. It was Zac.

“What was that boy up to now?” Tay thought.

He gave them enough time to get back to their room, then knocked on their door. He could still hear them giggling.

Quick opened the door, and Zac greeted me.

“Oh, hi Tay,” Zac said, stifling a giggle. “Top of the morning to you.”

“Tap in the morning to you too,” Tay said as he picked up a pillow from the bed and whacked Zac.

“Alright guys, I saw you when I was down by the pool with Jaxsper. Mind telling me what you two are up to?”

Quick told Taylor about their plan. Sure, Zac tried to stop him but it was way too funny. When they were done, Taylor didn’t laugh... he roared!

“Jax is gonna hate this!” he said, laughing and wiping a tear from his eye.

“So, you’re saying you don’t want us to do it?” Zac asked.

“I didn’t say anything like that. Jax is gonna hate it sure, but not for long. He’ll come around. Come on,” Taylor said, “Let’s start the insanity!”

CHAPTER 19

TobyQ: It’s been two days since you did it, Zac.
I reckon that Jax must have caught on by now. ZacMonster: Nah, you know Jax. He doesn’t suspect a thing. Tay and I
will tell him when the time is right. TobyQ: Crikey, Zac! Is he ever going to be mad at you! ZacMonster: Ooops, hold on a sec Toby. Jax and Tay just walked
into the room. Ixnay on the Jax and Tay talk, k?
Let me say ‘hi’ to them, brb.
Zac looked up from Quick’s computer as Jaxsper and Taylor walked into the room. They looked so happy together. He knew that he was right, Jaxsper did not suspect a thing.

“Hey Jax,” Zac said, “Come over and say ‘hi’ to Toby. Well, you can’t actually say ‘hi’ but you can type it. Commere. We’re talking to each other online.”

Jaxsper really was happy. He hadn’t spoken with Toby since last summer during the filming of “The Real World” when he, Toby, Hanson and some others were all brought together. He was also happy to see that Toby and Zac stayed close. They seemed like a cute couple, and Jax knew that the boys were even closer than just ‘best friends.’ He had never told anyone, not even Taylor, about the time he saw Toby and Zac going at it like a couple of honeymooners.

“Speaking of honeymoons," Jax thought to himself, “It’s been a couple of days since I agreed to marry Taylor and he’s barely brought it up. I guess accepting his proposal was all that he wanted. It’s cool, actually, I don’t think we really have to tell everyone that we’re in love. All that matters is that we know.”

“I didn’t know that you and Toby talked to each other online,” Jax said to Zac as he typed in a ‘hello’ to Toby.

“Oh sure,” Taylor answered. “We started to taking a laptop computer with us everywhere so that we could connect to the internet. That way, we can keep in contact with our friends. We even talk to some fans this way. It’s great because they can’t track us down over the computer or anything. Check out Zac’s profile.”

Jaxsper clicked the button on the computer and read Zac’s personal profile. It read:

Name: ZWH - do you really need to know?
        Where from: Tulsa, OK
        Occupation: Professional blabbermouth
Personal Quote: Looking for you. Female, that’s good.
Normal, not alien. Human, no neosapiens.
                     No Harry Connicks.”
Jaxsper just laughed. Zac can be so weird.

“Ike and I like to tease people sometimes,” said Zac, “We’ll go online and tell people that we’re Taylor or that we’re each other or some girl who supposedly met us, and then deliberately say something wrong and get caught lying. The poor girls talking to us online. They never suspect that it’s actually one of us that they’re talking too. Sometimes we go into a chatroom and play a sort of ‘beat the clock’ game. We see if Ike can piss off someone in the room in less time than I bet him. And, sometimes.........”

Zac stopped mid-sentence. He realized that Jaxsper was no longer in front of the computer. Instead, he was off with Taylor again.

ZacMonster: Sorry, Tobe, it’s back to me again. Taylor would say ‘hi’
but he was taught never to talk with his mouthful and
right now, he’s got a mouthful of Jax.
They’re kissing again. TobyQ: That sounds nice. I’m glad that they found each other.
What about you, Zac. Have you found someone to kiss yet? ZacMonster: Nah, you know me Toby - free as a bird and I don’t plan
to get out of that tree. What about you? Why haven’t
you found a g/f yet? Or a b/f for that matter. TobyQ: Because I fancy you, Zac. You know that. It’s too bad
things couldn’t work with us. I guess I need someone tougher. ZacMonster: Hey, I’m tough! But, I know what you mean.
Besides, if you and I went out I would just
end up hurting you and then you would do that
thing with your face that makes me feel all
guilty. See, There it is! I bet that you’re
doing it right now! It looks sort of like this :-/
They were both speaking English but they weren’t talking the same language. Zac was trying to tell Toby all the reasons why they shouldn’t be together, but all Toby thought about was how much he wanted Zac to kiss him.

“We can be friends” Zac typed back to Toby, “We can be really good friends and I’ll help you find someone or something, and we’ll still be buds, right? I’m sorry if I led you on, Toby. You know how it is when you do something that’s not a good idea, just because you can’t think of a reason not too?”

“Whatever,” Toby typed back, trying to disentangle himself from a sticky situation. He hated it when his conversations with Zac turned to how in love Toby was with him. The most frustrating part for Toby was knowing, deep down inside, that he was so perfect for the wild youngest brother of the band Hanson. Toby would treat him right. They could laugh and joke and play all the time, and in the evening they could be together in other ways. Closer than best friends. But, unfortunately that’s all Zac wanted to be. Toby’s good friend.

This good friend thing with Zac would never work for Toby. Zac would type in things like what movie he saw or tell Toby about his latest drawing and Toby would feel as if he was melting inside. It hurt so much to be with him but it hurt to be without him too. Sometimes life can be so cruel.

Zac and Toby had been “mates” for months now. At first, Toby thought that being classified as "friends" was just an excuse for Zac to stop talking to him. The “let’s stay friends” thing. But it’s been the opposite. Zac called Toby and they started exchanging email and chatting online. Toby secretly hoped that Zac stayed close to him because deep down, Zac really wanted to be with him. Toby reckoned that ‘friends’ meant that they would always be together, so he wasn’t sad about that. Still, it was hard when Zac started talking about his new edible paintings (don’t ask) and Toby would drift off an imagine that he was saying ‘I want to kiss you’ when he was actually saying, ‘Toby, I want to be the next Picaso of the food world.’

The boys continued typing for awhile longer. Toby tried to direct the conversation away from his obvious love for Zac and also not mention the plan that Zac had cooked up for Jaxsper and Taylor. What Zac didn’t realize is that Jaxsper and Taylor had finished their kiss, and that Jaxsper was standing behind him. Jax decided that it was high time that he shared the happiness that he found with Taylor. Maybe he could find a way to reunite Toby and Zac. Now that he knew they stayed close, he could use that. He watched Zac and Toby talk online for a second or two.

BING,” the computer sounded as an instant message popped up on the screen.

jDooley154: I'm sorry to bother you but I was wondering if
you could invite me to the wedding?
Jaxsper's eyes bugged out as he looked over Zac's shoulder.

"What? Who's that?" Jax asked. "How does he know about the wedding?"

Zac laughed while Quick and Taylor exchanged a strange look. No one was in a hurry to answer that question, which bugged Jax a bit. Zac typed back his response.

ZacMonster: We're touched that you want to come
but they haven't made any plans yet.
“Plans? What plans?” Jax asked. “How does he know about it? Is he a friend of yours, Zac?”

ZacMonster: We’ll post the details once we know them.
See you at the wedding.
Taylor cleared his throat and put his hands on his lover’s shoulder. He said, “Ummm, Jax, you won't believe this....”

“Try me,” said Jax, turning to face Taylor. “He’s a friend of yours right? So you had to invite him to the wedding? Taylor, I know I said how much I wanted to marry you, but I’m still kinda embarrassed about the whole ceremony thing.”

Jax turned around when he heard Quick speak. He said, “Actually, Jax, Taylor didn’t invite him. You did, and if you turn around and look at the monitor, I think you'll understand.”

Zac pulled up a website and paged down near the bottom. He clicked on bar to start a streaming video movie. It showed Taylor and a figure blurred just off camera. Jaxsper knew it was from two days ago when he and Taylor were out by the pool. Jax recognized it as his own voice. It said, "I'm talking about making it official... I'll tell you what, you can set this wedding up, you can invite everyone you know to this wedding. All your fans. Everyone. And I will say whatever you want me to say.”

Jaxsper felt his face drop. The rest of the room erupted with laughter. “Quick!” Jax said with a mix of shock, embarassment and laughter, “You did this!”

“Well, it's not entirely his fault,” Taylor said, laughing

“What? You knew? You knew he did this?”

“Not at first,” Taylor answered, “but I did kinda help. Zac, show him the rest.”

Zac scrolled back up to the top of the website. It read:

“You’re invited, to see Jax and Taylor finally do it.
They finally take the plunge. This marriage is going to be an adventure.”

“Quick helped us, Jax,” Zac said. “He’s really pretty good on the computer, you know, and a great writer. Look, if you click here you can read the whole story about how you and Taylor got together. Isn’t that just the sweetest thing? Look, he’s speechless guys.”

Jaxsper didn’t know what to make of all of this.

“Taylor, what are you doing? Are you crazy? What about your record label and your career. What about your family?”

“It’s just the web, Jax,” Taylor said reassuringly. “Not everyone believes the story is true, of course. Alot of people think that it’s pure fiction but it’s developed a real cult following just the same.”

Quick said, “Besides, the best way to keep something secret is not act like there isn't one. Hide in plain sight. The video was taken far enough away so no one can be sure it's Taylor and you're even harder to make out. We only call you ‘Jax’. It could be a boy’s or girl’s name. It’s really kinda a goofy name if you think about it.”

“People saw the two of you together on 'The Real World' and the web is full of fiction stories about famous guys. The only people who believe it will be the people who want to believe it Jax,” Zac said. “There’s rumors floating around about us all the time. Things like, ‘I died and I was replaced by a girl’ and ‘Ike was caught smoking so our mom banned him from concerts’ and ‘Taylor’s gay.’ Well, I guess that last one is true but that’s not the point. The point is, you’re getting married, dude, and everyone is all excited.”

Jax was dumbfounded. “Maybe it would be a nice, small ceremony,” he once thought. “Just Taylor and me and some family. Isn’t that what he said?” He wasn’t exactly mad, just...stunned.

Zac stood up and started jumping on the bed. He repeated over and over again, “You’re getting married, Jax’s getting married.”

“Let me tell you something. All of you,” Jax said, “No sane person will take an invitation or a website like that seriously.”

Quick answered, "Umm, Jax, we’ve received about 145 e-mailed RSVP’s for the wedding so far."

“No one will take it seriously?” Taylor laughed, “Jax, you wanna bet?”

CHAPTER 20

“145 e-mails!” I said in disbelief.

“Well, actually make that 147,” Quick said. “Two more just came in.”

I stood there stunned, my mind racing with questions. How did all these people find out about the wedding? Why did they care? And, the best one, is Taylor completely nuts? I asked him that and told him that I thought we should call the whole thing off.

“Don’t you dare,” he said laughing. He pulled me aside and said, “Don’t even think about it, Jaxsper. I have witnesses, and I have rights, and you, Mr. Finn, have already proposed. It’s right there on the computer screen.”

“Taylor, I..... I don’t know what to say. This is all happening so fast. We only have about two weeks left together, and now there’s all those people out there, and how in the world can we even get married anyway. I wouldn’t even know where to start.”

Taylor just kissed me and said, “Jaxsper, when I thought I lost you I....”

His voice trailed off. We stood away from Quick and Zac. It’s as I have said before, when I’m with Taylor, the rest of the lights in the world dim and all I can see is him. At that moment, I didn’t care about the embarrassment or my feelings or my stupid secret. All I cared about was that Taylor wanted this marriage to happen.

“Perfect love exists, Jax. I’ve seen it for myself. It’s not those dumb flowers and moonlight serenades. It’s two people grabbing onto happiness before it fades. When you were in the hospital, and you said you were leaving, all I could think of was, ‘I just cannot be here without you. What am I supposed to do?’ Then suddenly, crystal clear I could see it all. I pictured you and I and candlelight, and we would look so beautiful. We would be married and together forever and, someday Jax, two young kids would be wishing they were us.”

I kissed him again. He was right. This marriage was going to happen, even if I had to move Heaven and Earth for it.

“Ok, break it up you two lovebirds,” Zac said. “Don’t you have alot of planning to do?”

Taylor took me by the hand and led me to the door. He said, “Actually, Zac, weren’t you and Quick just saying this was all your big idea? You guys can start figuring out how to actually pull this wedding off. In the meanwhile, I’m going to the movies with my fiancée. We will be back in time for all of us to go out to dinner.

Taylor put his arm around me and led me out of the room. “Fiancée” I liked that. Maybe things wouldn’t be so bad after all.

____________________________

The town we were staying in was one of those small beach towns on the east coast. The perfect place for us to hide from any Hanson fan. Still, we had to be careful not to be too demonstrative in public. We were not sure if the people here would look kindly on two guys wanting to be together.

We found one of those small movie theaters. The kind that shows double features of second run movies and all for $2.00. Taylor paid and, once inside, he took off the baseball cap covering his beautiful, long, blond hair.

“Maybe we can find a balcony and make out,” I joked.

“Oh, no,” said Tay, “There will be none of that, sir. I am a good honest boy, and I don’t believe in sex before marriage. Besides, the wait will only make you want me more.”

“But, Tay, who knows if this marriage thing will ever happen. It could be weeks away.”

“You know, I think that you’re only marrying me for my body. I can wait if you can. In fact, I think I can wait longer,” he said.

That sounded like a challenge, and I love those. There is no way I was letting Taylor beat me on this one. I told him that I seriously doubted that he could wait longer than me. I reminded him of our date, when we were in California. He could barely last all night. Probably by the end of the day today, he would be begging me to help him get off.

He took me up on it and said that we would be ‘sex free’ until the wedding. Then he told me the terms of the challenge. If one of us couldn’t take it, all we would have to do is say that the other won, but whoever gave up first would be the slave to the winner.

The theater was one of those old revival Victorian ones, with the columns and the inlaid designs on the walls. It looked like it was out of the past. It was also pretty empty, it was only 3:00 in the afternoon, on a weekday. It was pretty dark inside, so I guess he felt confident in leading me by the hand up to one of the balconies.

Of course, Taylor didn’t forget about our bet. He made a point of licking his lips often, which knows drives me insane. I love a guy with nice, puffy lips. He even bent over in front of me, wagging his ass, to pick up a paper he ‘accidentally’ dropped on the floor.

The lights dimmed further and the trailers started to roll. I stole a glance over at him. All this teasing was getting to me and I secretly longed to feel skin on skin, to smell the delicious smell of his body, and ached to run my fingers through his long hair. Taylor just pretended not to notice, but I knew that he was confident that he had me right where he wanted me.

Slowly and deliberately he slid my hand onto mine. Our seats shared an arm rest, so Tay pretended that he didn’t notice. Just this simple touch caused my pulse to quicken. I didn’t pull away, but it was a monumental struggle given the warring factions of my brain. I just couldn’t let Taylor win.

I glanced over through the corner of my eye, and noticed that he was watching for my reaction. I tried to hide it, but I’m sure he saw the look of desire pass over my face quickly. Taylor gently drew his hand along the length of my arm, and I can almost be sure that he felt a shudder as my body reacted to this now forbidden treat. I turned to face him now, ignoring the movie. Our eyes met in the flickering darkness, and locked together, shutting out all other details and surroundings.

I slipped into an almost dreamlike state, ignoring the sounds and sights of the movie and the few people in the theater.

“What are you doing?” I asked Taylor.

“Just putting my arm on the armrest. You don’t mind, do you? If you do, you can always take your arm off. We’re supposed to share, you know. It’s not bothering you, is it? I mean, I’m not getting to you, right?”

I just turned and looked back at the movie, pretending that I didn’t know what he was talking about. After about a minute, I felt his hand move, leaving my arm. My body secretly screamed out for him to touch me again, and its silent scream was rewarded. His hand lazily flopped down to rest on my thigh. He did it so nonchalantly, that it almost seemed like he didn’t plan it. I wanted desperately to return the touch but I did not want to lose that darn bet so I knew better than to try. His fingers absent mindedly strummed along my thigh as the movie continued. Taylor madly tried to get to me, but I held firm.

“Jax, I can’t see from here,” he said about a third of the way through the movie. “Change seats with me.”

I told him ‘no’. I didn’t want to get up, what with this throbbing hard-on I was sporting from his playful touch.

“Fine, have it your way,” he said.

In a heartbeat, he inched forward in his seat, then silently, effortlessly rose from his chair and slid towards me. He landed softly and surprisingly in my lap!

“If you’re not going to get up,” Taylor said, “then we will just have to share.”

He just sat there, pretending to watch the movie, like there was nothing odd about him sitting on my lap, trapping my raging dick under his weight. I could feel every cell in my body hoping that he would go further. Taylor squirmed, supposedly trying to get comfortable, and leaned back onto my chest. His blond hair in my face, brushing against my cheek. I could smell the mix of his CkB and his own delicious boy-smell.

Finally comfortable on his new seat, he relaxed his body with a sigh. Before I could even stop myself, I wrapped both of my arms around him, warming Taylor from the chill of the cool air of the movie theater. We sat as one while the movie continued. I softly kissed the nape of his neck, that sweet spot that drives him wild, but he proved stronger than me. He barely let out a whimper. I heard one of us whisper, "Oh yessssss" but I could not be sure if it was me or Taylor. It all just felt so good, so nice, and so right for us to be together like that.

He ignored my advances and attempts to make him horny enough to call off the bet. As we sat in the darkness, I started to think that he might have fallen asleep. His breathing grew rhythmic and deep. Meanwhile, I could scarcely breathe at all, I was too aroused, and feared that I might just explode right there, with the people below us.

I’m sure Taylor could feel my hard dick, getting harder by the second, pressing against his butt, as he just sat there on my lap. He slowly started wiggling and sliding up and down against that hard bulge. He could tell how much I liked it, how much I needed it, by the way my breathing grew even more shallow, almost grunting, and by the slight twitching coming from my lap. His rubbing increased until it felt like he was vibrating against my dick and balls. His eyes stayed glued to the movie screen, and he pretended as if he wasn’t doing anything at all. It was pure torture!

My hands slid slowly up his sides and my fingers gently pinched and tickling Taylor’s nipples, making them poke out in the tight shirt he was wearing. He just kept up the slight bouncing against my way too hard dick. It must have looked like he was riding a horse. I couldn’t take it any longer. I leaned forward to his ear and panted, "Oh I am so close. I can't hold back much longer. You win."

“Oh no,” he whispered back. “I told you, Jax, no sex until we’re married. I told you that you would never last. Get your mind off that. I’m trying to watch the movie. If you’re going to be that way, I’ll just go back to my own seat.”

He promptly stopped and slid forward off my lap. I reached for him with my hands hoping to convince him to come back against my body, even if it was for just one more stroke.

I quietly begged, "P-l-ease make me come, Taylor."

He sighed and pretended to be annoyed with me, then allowed me to pull him back to my lap. He leaned back against me and rubbed his ass into me a few more times. My hands stroked his long hair, and he pulled my fingers to his mouth for a nice, long suck. His tongue danced along the digits of my hand. One or two strokes was all that was needed. Soon it started. Blast after blast of cum spattering into my jeans, the last of it oozing into my now twisted boxers.

Taylor relaxed against me, and snuggled up close. We both relaxed and smiled. It does feel so good to be together, our bodies almost as one.

“I told you that you would never last,” Taylor said, “You’re way too horny. Good thing this is a double feature. Now, what was it that we bet again? Oh yes, whoever loses is the slave to the winner. Slave, I think we should start right now.”

CHAPTER 21

Where are we going to find information on how two boys can get married,” Zac asked as he and Quick walked out of the hotel room and towards downtown.

“I don’t know, but if it’s what Jax wants, then we have to try,” said Quick. “Some idea you came up with, Zac! ‘Let’s tell everyone that their getting married, then Jax will be forced to go through with it’ Yeah right. Now we’re stuck with figuring out a way.”

The boys walked past the movie theater on their way to the library.

“I bet they’re in there right now, watching a movie and enjoying themselves. Not a care in the world,” said Zac

Taylor got up and returned to his seat. I slouched down, basking in the glow of the great orgasm that he gave to me, my body totally relaxed.

He didn’t give me much time to enjoy myself. Taylor grabbed his the hand of his ‘slave’ and pulled it toward his leg. My orgasm over, I could now think clearly. We were in the middle of the movie theater for goodness sakes! It’s funny how, when you’re horny, you forget about things like that, but we were, after all in a public place.

Still, I was his slave now, and it wasn’t my place to ask questions. I started rubbing my hand up and down his leg, hoping that he was enjoying himself. He kept his hand on mine, showing his ‘slave’ exactly what he wanted, where he wanted to be touched and for how long. I was glad that we were sitting up in the balcony, away from the few people in the theater, and that no one could see us.

He moved my hand up further so that I cupped his crotch. He moved me so that I squeezed and massaged his balls through his jeans. I could feel how hard he was, and that made me more turned on myself. I heard Taylor gasp as I pinched my way up the strong shaft that was now straining against the buttons on his fly. My hand worked its way up until I was at the tip. I stayed there for awhile, poking and massaging the head of Taylor’s cock.

He whispered for me to undo his pants, and I slowly unbuttoned every button of his fly. Taylor took my hand in his again and directed me to reach inside his pants. I reached in to find that his boxers were soaked in precum. He was really turned on. I fumbled around inside his pants for a second until I found the fly of his boxers and eased his cock though it, exposing it to the cool air of the movie theater.

I could smell his excitement. My fingers toyed in the sticky strands of his precum, coating his dick in it. There was just so much!

“Suck me off, slave,” he said.

Right here? In the middle of the movie theater? What if someone came up to the balcony? Still I was out of my mind with desire and I knew that Taylor was too. I couldn’t fight it, all reason had left me again. I slid out of my seat and onto my knees in front of him. Taylor lifted one leg and let it dangle over one of the armrests.

I could still hear the sounds of the movie playing behind me as I moved my face to his throbbing dick and lightly kissed the head. It shined in the glow of the movie theater and I licked along it’s length. I was taking my time, savoring the moment, but Taylor had other plans. He wanted it fast, either so that we wouldn’t get caught or just because he couldn’t take the wait a moment longer.

Taylor put his hand on the back of my head and motioned for me to go down on his cock. I opened my lips and let him inside. I felt him twitch against my tongue again. I tightened my lips around him and bobbed my head on his shaft. I would get him slick with my saliva, then pull back on him, letting the cool air dance on his wet cock, then plunge back down as far as I could. I worked the head of his dick with my tongue. He pushed forward a tiny bit, easing more of his dick into my waiting mouth.

I could hear him breathing hard. He let out one or two small mews of desire. I hoped I was the only one who heard him. I kept my mouth clamped on his cock, and reached up to cover his mouth with my hand. He sucked on my fingers again, before I pulled my hand away to wrap it around his hot cock again.

I knew that he was close. Taylor bit his lower lip, trying to suppress any sound. Any second now, he would deliver his hot cum into me, and I planned on taking every drop. I felt his cock expand even more, then flex, then blast a nice rapid burst into my mouth. I swallowed as fast as I could, but there was so much. I could barely keep up with his pace. I lost count of the number of blasts he shot into me.

When he was done, I left my face in his lap for a minute, letting us both rest. His dick leaked out a few more drops and I cleaned them up. When he was completely spent, I leaned back and put his soft dick back into his jeans and slid back into my seat.

Taylor looked over and kissed me, tasting himself on my lips. He leaned his head on my shoulder and we watched the rest of the second feature.

“We’ll never find a way,” Zac cried.

The librarian told him to shush. The boys had not made very many friends in the library. Zac just couldn’t seem to understand the meaning of the word quiet. Quick told Zac to follow him outside and tell him there. They just have to look more tomorrow. Besides, it was time to meet Jaxper and Taylor for dinner.

“Maybe we can find something if we do another search on my computer,” Quick said, but Zac didn’t seem to hear him. He was too distracted. “Zac, are you listening to me?”

Zac was staring over Quick’s shoulder at....something or someone. He couldn’t quite make it out, but it looked like a man, standing by one of the docks. The man saw them looking and shakily pushed himself away from the rail and started to walk away, almost as if he was scared.

Quick turned to see what Zac was staring at so intently. The wind was starting to kick up over the ocean. It was growing dark and cold and the man shivered, the thin t-shirt he was wearing would never do. The man held a small backpack close to his body. He was bedraggled and walked with a slight limp.

Zac walked over towards the guy, Quick soon right behind him. As they got closer, they saw that it wasn’t a man, it was a teenager around Quick’s age.

“Hey,” Zac said, “Do you need some help, dude?”

“N-n-no. Go away, I’m fine.” the teen said, not turning to look at them.

His voice broke and the way he trembled slightly told Quick that he was anything but fine. Quick reached out and put his hand on the teen’s shoulder and asked him quietly to wait and talk for a second. The teen flinched at Quick’s touch. Obviously scared. The teen shrugged off Quick’s hand and kept walking.

“I really don’t need your help ok. Leave me alone.......”

The teen’s voice was cut off my by a deep cough. He paused for a second to catch his breath, and that’s when Quick saw his face.

The teen had the beginnings of two black eyes, they were starting to swell. His lip was cut too. A small drop of blood dried under his nose. Quick felt sorry for the boy, he was obviously hurt. Still, he had the brightest blue eyes Quick had ever seen. The shined even through his obvious pain.

“Dude, are you sure you’re ok?” Quick said. “Let us help you alright?”

The teen looked Quick and Zac over closely, trying to decide whether or not to trust them and if they would really help him.

“I heard you cough,” Quick said. “Is there any pain in your chest?”

“A-a-a little,” the boy said feebly.

“Why don’t you come with us,” Zac said. “We’re meeting our brother for dinner. You can join us and we’ll get you something to eat.”

“I...don’t really want to,” the boy stammered.

Quick decided then that this boy needed his help, whether he knew it or not.

“Come with us ok. Just for dinner. Then I’ll drive you anywhere you want.”

The boy finally agreed. He was very hungry after all.

“So, what’s your name, dude?” Zac asked.

The boy got quiet for a second. He cocked his head and stared off into space, as if he was trying to think of something. A small tear formed around one of his penetrating blue eyes. It slid down his cheek.

“I.... don’t really know,” he said.

CHAPTER 22 “Think of your first memory. Perhaps you’re at a circus, the first pleasant stinging taste of spun sugar melting on your lips as you bite into a cotton candy. Maybe it’s your dad showing you the proper way to bait a hook, the cold worm all squishy in your fingers, or your mother whispering that by morning the thunder and lightening will just be a distant memory. I have no first memory. I do not know where I came from. There is light and darkness and then..... me. I have no beginning and no true end and I am so tired.”

Taylor, Zac, Quick and I crowded around our new friend. We sat around the table in the restaurant. Our mystery friend ate like there was no tomorrow. Even Zac was put to shame. Guess he was very hungry. After we had finished, the five of us went back to Quick and Zac’s room at the hotel. Our friend sat on the bed, and we all took seats around him.

“Wow, that’s weird, dude,” Zac said. “You mean you don’t remember anything?”

Our new friend shook his head. He told us that he had been on the road for about a week now. He had visited a clinic a few towns over. They checked him out and said that there was nothing physically wrong with him. They couldn’t find any reason for his loss of memory. It was really kind of weird. The boy told us that the doctors started to talk about putting him in a runaway shelter or a psych. ward. They said he was probably faking it. That’s when he left. He ran away in the middle of the night and just kept going.

“I just had this.... feeling that I needed to keep looking for something,” he said.

“Dude,” Quick said, “Do you have any ID on you? Do you even know your name? We just can’t keep calling you ‘Dude’ you know, dude.”

“Yeah,” said Zac, “Will Mr. X please sign in.”

X, as Zac started to call him, told us that he couldn’t remember his name. He couldn’t remember much of anything, really. Four days ago, some teenagers beat him up, took the money he had scraped together while on the road, and the few scraps of paper he had on him. The only clues to who he was.

“That’s it, I guess. Except, if I try really hard,” X said, staring off into space slightly, “I can sort of remember loving someone and having them love me back with such intensity. I can’t see their face, I can’t hear their voice. It’s just that I knew that I could always find my way back to them, find some way home, so long as our bond wasn’t broken. Now.... now something’s wrong. For some reason, they’re not holding onto me. That’s when I started to lose my compass. That love was everything in the world to me, and now I can’t even remember their name!”

X’s eyes started to tear up and he slammed his fist against his thigh in frustration. He whispered again, “I can’t even remember their name.”

“We can help you, dude. Maybe we can use the internet,” Quick said.

“Yeah. ‘Specially since it was soooo much help finding a way for Jax and Tay to get married,” Zac said sarcastically.

I was sort of hoping to avoid this. Zac is so open and ready to tell people about Taylor and I. Tay doesn’t seem to care to much about it. Still, I wince every time it’s brought up to someone. I just don’t feel comfortable talking about it to the public.

I guess after hearing X’s story, I should stop being so silly though. I know what it’s like to feel that, sort of, psychic connection with someone. That bond. When Taylor and I were apart, I could feel it. I can feel it now, and I don’t plan on ever letting go of it. I guess telling X wasn’t so bad. He didn’t seem too freaked out by the fact that two of the guys he was sitting in a hotel room with planned on getting married.

X seemed very interested in helping us. He said, “I might know of a way to help you guys. You know, the Shawnee Indians used to allow their medicine men to marry other men. They felt that the woman was ‘unclean’ during parts of the month and the only way to keep the medicine man pure was to allow him the love of another man.”

“Hey, great idea, X” Zac said. “Shawnee Indians, huh? let’s look that up. We’re going to have us an Indian wedding. Muchas Smoochas, dude!”

Zac and X went over and opened up Quick’s laptop and dialed onto the internet, Zac slapping his hand to his mouth and making “whoop-whoop-whoop” Indian cry.

Quick came over to talk to us. He said, “We’re going to take care of X, aren’t we? I mean, I know you’re sort of spending alot of money on us Taylor, but we can’t just turn him away. He’s all alone. If you want, I’ll head back home and X can take my place.”

Taylor told him that it was not necessary. Besides, we needed Quick since he was the only one of us who knew how to drive. Quick laughed, and thanked Taylor. He told us the other weird thing was that X seemed to know who the Hansons were. He couldn’t remember anyone else, not even himself, but he recognized Taylor when they walked over to us and knew Zac immediately too. That was really sort of weird.

Zac and X found a site that told them all about the Shawnee marriage ceremony. It even told them of a shaman who might officiate at the wedding. Many of their people still adhere to their traditional religion.

“It says here,” Zac read, “that the Eastern Shawnee’s numbers have dwindled down to only about 750 and most of them are on a reservation in...... central Oklahoma?! Weird huh? Well, pack up your bags, men..... oh and you too Tay... I guess we’re headed back home after all.”

Things had taken a strange turn. I guess that Taylor and I were one step closer to getting married. Sure, we were not of Shawnee blood, but Zac seemed sure that we could find someone to marry us.

“Hey, Quick, what’s this icon for?” Zac asked.

Quick, who was standing over by us, seemed to jump straight into the air. He rushed over towards Zac and X’s side of the room just as Zac clicked on one of the icons on Quick’s laptop.

“No, no, no, no no” Quick repeated as he put his hands over the monitor. “It’s nothing really. Just some other stuff I’ve been writing. Pay no attention to it.”

“Nothing, you say,” Zac said, smiling. “How many shades of red are you turning right now, Quick?”

Zac turned to look at me and said, “I guess that makes you the one with the smoldering eyes, Jax. There’s some pretty steamy stuff here. And you said that you and Quick were just friends. You holding out on us, Jax?”

I didn’t know what to say. I hadn’t even realized that Quick was gay until now. I stammered out something stupid. The last thing I wanted was to embarrass Quick.... well I guess I mean second to last. The last thing I wanted was to have Taylor think that I was untrue.

“You’ve got some very detailed purple prose there,” X said, reading passages through Quick’s fingers. “It reads like an Emily Bronte novel....”

“Yeah, but with sex in it,” Zac joked. He and X shared a laugh, much to Quick and my embarrassment.

Quick used one hand to work the mouse, and closed the file. He turned to X and said, “You read Emily Bronte?”

“What can I say, I’m a hopeless romantic.” X said with a shrug.

Quick tried to apologize to me. I told him it was ok, but I was mostly dumbfounded.

“You’ll have to excuse Jax,” Taylor said, putting a reassuring hand on my shoulder. “He’s probably the only guy in the world who didn’t know that Quick is madly in love with him. It’s ok, Quick. He’s hard to resist. Believe me, I know how yummy Jax can be. On that note, if you’ll excuse us, boys, my fiancee and I are going to bed.”

Tay dragged me out of the guy’s room and down the hall to ours, giggling the whole way.

“Quick and Jaxsper, sitting in the tree. k-i-s-s-i-n-g,” I could hear Zac singing as we shut the door.

Quick closed up the computer and started getting to bed. He was glad that tomorrow was another day, another day further from this very public embarrassment. He also thought that tomorrow he would start his search to find out more about this mystery boy who recognized Hanson, knew about American Indian customs and read Emily Bronte.

______________________

Sure, Jaxsper and Taylor always got the honeymoon suite in the hotels, but now Quick’s room had another person in it. Even so, there was plenty of room, and as Zac said, “the more the merrier”

The boy’s room was actually a small suite. There was a bedroom with two beds and a smaller sitting room. Quick let X use his bed, next to Zac’s and he crammed in on the little love seat in the sitting room. It wasn’t very comfortable though, and Quick had a hard time sleeping.

About 2:00 am, Quick got up to use the bathroom. He noticed a dim light coming from the slightly open bedroom door. Maybe one of the guys was up to keep him company, since there was no way he could sleep on that tiny love seat.

Quick snuck over to the door, careful not to wake anyone up who might still be sleeping. He peeked through the one inch crack of the door. Only one of the guys was asleep. “Good thing I was so quiet,” Quick thought.

Quick’s eyes traveled to find the source of the light. It was coming from his laptop’s screen and he saw his other friend sitting in front of it, wearing only his underwear. He was quietly staring at the screen so as not to wake up the guy still sleeping.

“I thought he was tired,” Quick thought. “I guess he’s trying to find out more information on the wedding.”

Quick watched as his friend leaned back and lowered his hand to the front of his underwear. The guy’s fist cupping his package. Quick could see the guy was aroused even from across the room. Quick squinted to see what was on the computer screen. He recognized it as at one of his stories.

Quick somehow managed to keep his suprise contained - the guy was gay! Sure he didn’t know him all that well, but just like Jaxsper he turned out to be gay. “I’m going to have to develop better gay-dar” Quick thought, “These guys keep sneaking through.”

The guy didn’t know he was being watched by Quick. He reached over and clicked the mouse to move the text down further, then settled back in his chair and continued massaging his dick.

“He must be at the sex part,” thought Quick.

Quick saw as he pushed his hand down inside of his briefs and silently started stroking his dick. Quick was fascinated by the sight. It was wilder than he imagined. Quick imagined his friend’s mind filled with the images portrayed in the story. Images of guys kissing other guys, of guys doing more than that with other guys. It excited Quick to see his friend getting excited over something like that. The excitement only made Quick hotter, but he didn’t dare jack off too. Quick was afraid if he did, the sound of him working on his own cock would alert his friend to his presence.

His friend studied the story on the computer, leaned back and let out a slight moan, quiet enough not to wake the other guy sleeping just a few feet away. Quick knew that his friend really wanted to scream with delight but he knew enough to keep quiet.

Then, the guy started to stroke himself faster. He was thrusting his hips up into his hands, and he threw his head back. His eyes tightened into tiny slits. The guy erupted, sending streams of cum up onto his naked chest and stomach. Quick saw him slump back in the chair, breathing heavily, totally drained.

Quick rushed back to the love seat he was supposed to be sleeping on. He didn’t want to embarrass the other guy and he felt guilty for spying on him during that very private moment. Still, something about how he was able to get that guy hot with the stories that he wrote excited Quick.

The dim light went out in Zac and X’s room, and he knew that the guy had gone to bed again. Quick put his hand to the front of his boxers, just as he saw his friend do earlier. He lightly cupped his balls. The memory of what he had seen just a few moments ago game back immediately. He stroked himself lightly and, without thinking, moaned softly from the pressure he felt. His dick grew even harder.

Quick noticed the small damp spot forming on his boxers. He pushed them down and began to give his dick a serious stroking, he needed to make up for lost time. He shut his eyes and started to jack.

“Oh, this feels so good,” he thought to himself.

A drop of clear fluid eased out of the tip, and Quick spread it over himself with his finger. His dick was on fire, and touching it made it jump with a mind of it’s own. He started to thrust his hips up into his stationary hand as if he was fucking up to meet his lover.

He imagined walking in on his friend as he sat there reading the story. Quick’s strokes became faster, more urgent. Quick thought about how he could almost make out the other guy’s cock in the dim light of the computer and how excited the guy looked when he was yanking on it.

Quick was in a frenzy now. He started jerking off faster and faster, harder and harder. He thought about the private show he just watched. He dreamed about helping his friend out. Wrapping his hand, not around his own cock, but his friend’s. Quick’s hand was moving amazingly fast now, and the slapping sound as he worked it got louder. The feelings were wonderful, he wanted them to last forever.

One hand toyed with his balls, rolling them around, as the other squeezed and worked his shaft. He wanted to shoot his load now. Quick could feel the pressure building up, almost to that point of no return. He went wild, thrashing his body around on the love seat. He was finally going to cum! Quick could feel the jizz flow into the base his cock and load up for the final eruption. He opened his eyes so that he could see the load he had waited so long for.

His back arched, lifting his ass completely off the couch. His dick erupted. The first blast sent a stream across his chest and onto his throat. The second was even stronger. Quick was sure he heard it splat onto arm on the back of the love seat. The next three shot out at shorter and shorter distances, streaming down his body. He fought to keep quiet, but a few grunts escaped his clenched teeth. He collapsed back on the couch, his head spinning from the intense orgasm, his breath panting, his hand milking out the last few drops from his dick.

After he had cleaned up the spent cum, he realized that the door between the bedroom and his sitting room was still ajar. In fact, it looked as if it was open slightly more than the one inch crack it was earlier. He started to imagine that he wasn’t the only spectator watching someone jack off tonight.

“Nah, that can’t be true,” Quick thought to himself as he rolled over and fell asleep.

Still, the possibility that it was, made his heart beat faster. Maybe, just maybe he had paid back his friend for the private show he watched earlier.

Who was the friend that Quick watched? The guy Quick didn’t realize was gay? Was it Zac or was it X? Write in and tell me who you think.
