Warnings Signs - He Might Be An Abuser If...

Would you laugh it off or change your life to be safer? Would you be afraid to walk around in your own yard? I was.

When you first meet someone, they don't say, "Within 6 months, I will beat you until you're black and blue, bleeding out your mouth and nose." No, no, no. They pretend to like you to hook you in, then their true personality can't help but seep through their pathetic mask of a human being, much less posing as a loved one.

Here are a few warning signs I missed and got my butt kicked for it. If you can agree to even one of the following listings, run, run, run far away, change your name by joining the Witness Protection Program, or become a nobody, a punching bag, just another nameless victim.

If you make excuses and say, "But I love them," then go back home and bury your head in the sand. You have no clue of what love is and, until you're ready to take charge of your own destiny, you will continue to allow someone else to control you, keeping you weak.

They Might be an Abuser If...

• They brag about killing someone in the past.
• They vow to shed your blood on your property.
• They show you a homemade explosive.
• They admit to bouncing their ex's head off the floor.
• They make statements how easy it would be to kill their ex.
• They're proud their sibling was on the FBI's Most Wanted list.
• They state that they planned to kill their best friend if they turned them into the police.
• They collect various types of ammunition and fire arms, including a crossbow.

They Might be an Abuser If...

• They brag about beating someone to near death because they were a bully.
• They have more than 1 DUI. But even one should be a clue.
• They refuse to work but constantly state what a hard worker they are.
• They call you names, at first, before the hitting begins.
• They brag about killing pets when they were young.
• They tell you not to tell anyone about your beatings.

They Might be an Abuser If...

• They drink every day and night.
• Their plans to make money include selling illegal drugs.
• They withhold sex and expect you to accept it.
• They file liens on your property when you try to break up with them.
• They file bogus lawsuits against you because you had them arrested.
• They refuse to leave your home after assaulting you, forcing you onto the streets.
• They destroy your credit.
• They try to kill your children or pets when they leave.
