Episode 8, "Madness of the Morgue"
Previously, on Friends and Foes:
Tristan kidnapped Jeff and locked him up in the Hospital’s Morgue.
Stephanie got raped; she got pregnant; she told Devin.
Alex was attacked by a man in a scream mask, who told him he would die soon
Stephanie and Devin are standing in a police line-up, trying to identify Stephanie’s rapist.
Stephanie is still in tears, her mother (Guest Star Kathy Bates) trying to comfort her, Devin also.
"None of them, they’re all the wrong ones." Stephanie says, disappointed. Just as she says this, Taylor enters the room.
Stephanie wipes the tears from her face and sniffles. "What do you want?" Stephanie weeps.
"I heard about what happened, and I’m sorry for all the burden I’ve caused you." Taylor says. Devin smiles and lips a ‘Thank You’ to Taylor, who leaves, as Stephanie looks back at the lineup.

Jeff is still unconscious, now in a big, clear plastic bag. A nurse or attendant must have put him in it, thinking he was dead. Suddenly, Jeff wakes up.
"What the?" Jeff struggles to get out of the bag, but it is virtually impossible. The zipper is outside of the bag, and Jeff can’t reach it from inside with his hands bound. Jeff suddenly becomes horrified. He shakes around violently, trying to get the bag open, with no avail. He would be in this plastic bag forever…
Jeff see’s through the window of the Morgue to see Alex talking with a doctor.
"Doctor, what happened to Jeffrey Moore?" Alex asks.
"Jeffrey Moore? Didn’t Tristan tell you?" The Doctor asks, surprised.
"Tristan? No, he didn’t tell me anything. Tell me what?" Alex is concerned.
"Jeff is dead. Tristan was watching him when it happened." The Doctor says.
Alex is shocked, and saddened. But not nearly as much as Jeff, who heard the Doctor’s words. Jeff has discovered the truth. Tristan is behind all the madness, in correlation with Brandi and probably Stephanie.
"Tristan didn’t tell me that Jeff died?" Alex thinks to himself. He is not too upset, because he had expected and prepared for Jeff’s death. "Why would he not tell me something so big. Maybe he was busy putting on a SCREAM mask and stalking me, or even killing Jeff. Let’s see what are friend Tristan is up to."

Tristan sits in his room, smiling as he picks up the phone. Meanwhile, downstairs, Tristan’s mom let’s Alex into the house. Alex quickly rolls his wheelchair around the corner where Tristan’s mom can’t see him, and picks up their phone, where he hears Tristan’s voice talking.
"Hello, Brandi?" (THE BIG EPISODE SHOCKER!) We see … GASP! … it’s Brandi!
"Yes, Tristan?" Brandi replies.
"The plan is well under way." Tristan reports.
"Excellent," Brandi comments again, "That pest Stephanie is going to die. What’s up with Jeff?"
"He is dead by now, but he is tied up in the morgue." Tristan laughs.
"Taylor, Devin, Stephanie?" Brandi asks.
"From what I’ve heard, Stephanie was raped 4 weeks ago, so now everyone is just dandy with each other. Planning a perfect murder is going to be tougher than we expected."
Brandi giggles. "Well, why don’t you go on ahead and kill Taylor. I’m taking care of Alex. We’ll deal with Devin and Stephanie later."
"Alright, bye." Tristan says. Tristan and Brandi hang up the phone.
Downstairs, Alex hangs up the phone, wide-eyed and shocked. He had to tell Devin and Taylor before someone else ended up dead. And he had to watch his own back, before HE ended up dead.

Alex is driving speedily down the busy street, scared to death. Two really psychotic teen-agers whom he had thought were friends are trying to kill him and his best friends. To Alex, this is beyond belief. It is so surreal, like a plot straight out of a suspense movie, or a good TV show.
Alex finally arrives at Devin’s driveway. He gets out of the car and rolls his wheelchair quickly up to Devin’s house, knocking on the door rapidly. A few moments later, Devin opens the door, Stephanie by his side, obviously not in the best of moods.
"Alex, what’s up?" Devin asks grimly.
"Devin! Stephanie! Tristan! Brandi! They! They’re doing it!" Alex, who is hyper-ventilating with fright, can’t get the words out right. (Superior Acting: Nicholas Brendon)
"Alex! Alex! Whoa! Calm down, come in and explain."

Taylor is alone in his house doing homework. A sudden knock comes from outside. Taylor sighs, annoyed, and gets up to answer the door. Standing in the doorway is Tristan.
"Hi, Taylor." Tristan greets.
"Tristan, come in." Taylor welcomes Tristan.
As soon as Taylor closes the door, Tristan grabs Taylor’s neck from behind and tries to suffocate him. Taylor starts gagging, and finally falls to the floor, unconscious.
Out of nowhere, Tristan pulls some rope and a gag out. He ties up Taylor really tight, slaps a gag in Taylor’s mouth, and picks him over his shoulder.
Tristan walks out of the house and throws Taylor into his car. Taylor's screams are smothered by the murderous gag. Tristan gets into the driver’s seat and zooms off.
