Episode 7, "Tristan Collects"
Previously, On Friends and Foes:
Stephanie reveals her plot to Taylor: to kill Devin
Tristan continues his plot to kill Alex and Jeff
Brandi left the country after being found not guilty.
Only Tristan and Stephanie know that Brandi is still in Pine Valley, ready to attack.
Alex is in Jeff’s hospital room, as Jeff lays silent on his bed, still in a coma. Nothing progressive is happening.
"You and me have been best friends forever. We went through so much. And then, you get this disease and well, now you’re dying." Alex is sad as he looks on to Jeff’s comatose body. "This last couple of weeks has been so weird. Brandi blew up the bus. You disappeared. Tristan became my friend. Devin and Taylor came back. Brandi tried to kill me, went to court, was found not guilty and disappeared. You came back, but you had a terminal disease. Devin had a girlfriend, a strange man kidnapped and almost killed me, and now your in a coma!"
Alex takes a deep breathe and leaves the room on his wheelchair.

Stephanie is sitting in a hospital lobby, crying and sad, waiting for the results from some tests. Tests of what? All the sudden, we undergo a flashback sequence:
Stephanie is sitting in her room. Gazing out her 2nd story window thoughtfully. The sun is setting over Pine Valley, and an orange-blazed horizon sweeps the city.
She is writing a note: ‘Brandi- I cannot do what you have asked of me. It is ludicrous and I love Devin. Apologies – Stephanie.’ She shoves the note into an envelope along with a bundle of cash
All of the sudden, Stephanie sees a man approaching her house. She starts to cry.
"Dad?" Stephanie’s eyes light up. She jumps off her bed and darts out of her room and down some stairs, and rips the door open.
"Dad it’s been so long since I’ve seen you! Thank goodness you’re back!" She yells ecstatically, tears of joy seeping from her eyes. She jumps into the man’s arms.
The man oddly starts laughing. It is then that Stephanie realizes that ... the man is not her father.
"Oh my God!" She screams ands tries to pull away from that man, who tightens his hold on her.
"Help me please!" Stephanie screams in horror. She screams relentlessly until the man violently shoves her to the floor. He slams the door behind him so you can’t see what is going on, but you can hear screams and slaps echoing through the air.
"Help me! Oh!"
The flashback is over, only to show Stephanie crying some more.

Tristan is sitting alone in Jeff’s room. He is grinning evilly.
"Well, well. This position seems to be so familiar." Tristan cackles. He smiles and pounds Jeff’s head in with his fist. Tristan covers Jeff’s body and strolls him out of the room with a stretcher. Tristan finds the room that reads ‘MORGUE’ and slips in. Inside of the morgue, it is very dark and gloomy. The foul stench of The Dead is overwhelming. Tristan strolls Jeff down to the very end of the room. Tristan covers Jeff’s body with a blanket.
"Sweet dreams, Jeff. No one will ever find you. I’ll just tell everyone that you died under my watch and a doctor took you away." Tristan smiles and leaves the morgue.

Alex is in his room, still upset about Jeff and the incident. He turns on the TV and starts to watch ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’. Behind him there is a window, and a figure wearing a SCREAM mask gazing into his room. In the reflection of the TV, Alex sees the SCREAM mask and quickly turns around, only to find nothing.
"Just a figment of my imagination." Alex reassures himself. As he says this, a brick goes flying through his window. Alex screams and plunges to the floor as huge and small shards of glass spray the room like a water-hose. Alex looks around, his heart beating 100 miles an hour, and finds the brick. On it, reads ‘Soon. You’ll Die’. Alex takes a deep breathe, and screams.
Stephanie’s eyes are dark, and a heavy purple baggage hangs under sockets. She sits looking at some kind of test in a hospital.
She is reading it quickly. "Oh, ok, here it is." She says, finding a spot on the paper with some relevance to her.
"The test in your graph has come back 99.98% accurately; positive." Stephanie takes this news hardly. She hesitates, then begins to scream in the middle of thew hospital. "NOOOOO!! PLEASE! NOOOO!!"
Suddenly, Devin turns the corner. "Stephanie? Are you OK?"
Stephanie just turns and hugs Devin. "Devin. A man raped me 3 weeks ago, an ran away! And now … I’m pregnant!"
