Recreating the Outlook Express e-mail profile

To recreate your Outlook Express E-mail profile

1.       In Outlook Express, go to Tools from the main menu, then click on Accounts.

2.       In the Internet Accounts dialog box, highlight the MSN account and click Remove.

3.       When prompted whether you want to delete the MSN account, click Yes.

4.       In Internet Accounts dialog box, click Add; from the popup menu then click Mail. You will see an Internet Connection wizard.

5.       In the Display name box, type the name that you want others to see when you send a message, and then click Next.

6.       In the E-mail Address box, type the e-mail address for the account that you are using (for example, "user@msn.com"), and then click Next.

7.       In the E-mail Server Names box, click the appropriate incoming e-mail server type (Post Office Protocol version 3 [POP3] is the default type), and then type the names of your incoming and outgoing e-mail servers:
Incoming = Pop3.email.msn.com
Outgoing = smtp.email.msn.com

8.       Click Next.

9.        - Type your account name and password in the Account Name and Password boxes.
- Click Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA).

10.   Click Next, and then click Finish.
