Strange Bird

This strange bird is inspired by the numerous birds on early Greek and Celtic
pottery. Sort of looking like a flamingo, but much humbler, this bird suggests
those people who have some special inner magic, but might be slightly awkward
on the outside. Perhaps late bloomers, maybe never understood by the greater
public, but nonetheless, they make the world a decidedly better place. Made
from glazed red earthenware clay, the back of this limited edition piece displays
the artist's signature stamp and the LQP chop mark. Left to right 1 3/4"
