i assume that you clicked on this link because you want to know who i am. let it be known that, prior to january 31 2003, this was classified information. however, in the weeks leading up to that date, three important things happened to me:

• i read some interviews with the cast and crew of the lord of the rings: the two towers. all of them said how great it was being in new zealand (with the exception of the new zealanders, of course).
• i bought a copy of q magazine. it came with a cd: the best tracks from the best albums of 2002. the datsuns, a new zealand band, were on the cd. i liked their track.
• i saw whale rider, a new zealand movie, based on a book by a kiwi author. the movie has been doing very well overseas and i enjoyed it greatly.

so all of this adds up to: i am no longer afraid or ashamed to say online that i am a new zealander! kia kaha!
