CRUSH

Yes, this really is just an excuse for me to ramble some more about Dan, although the Lord knows I do enough of that in my Blog. Of course, there is the slight possibility that he is reading this, so I will try not to be too obsessive...

That's him right there. But before you think another thought, I want to explain one tiny thing to you: that's not Daniel Radcliffe. No, this is another Daniel. He was, however, a body double for Harry Potter on the movie. Which is where the picture comes from (he didn't know he was being photographed though, which may explain why he looks like he's stoned).

So, now you know that Dan isn't some film-star person I have never met, but in fact a guy from my church who I get to see about once a week. And he is very cute.

And also quite a good friend of mine, actually. Unlike with most boys I have a crush on (or, indeed, many boys I don't) I can actually talk to him normally without going all shy and blushy. At least, he's never said to me "you're blushing, you know" which he would if I was because... well, he's like that. Anyway. I can have about as much of a vaguely sensible conversation with Dan as anyone can.

Perhaps now is a good time to give you his vital stats, eh? Well, who cares, I'm going to anyway.

Name: Dan Godbold
Age: 15
Hair colour: Browny-black
Eye colour: Grey
Height: About 5' 5"

You're probably now wondering how a fifteen-year-old could have been a body double for someone who is twelve. The simple answer is: Dan used to be really short. And I was quite mean to him about it when I first met him... except, I was introduced to him by a friend who doesn't like him very much. In fact, I think she spends most of her time making fun of him. So, at the weekend away when I met him, I was rather nasty to him.

You might now be wondering why I was so eager to be nasty to a boy I didn't even know, but let me just tell you one little thing: nearly everyone is mean to Dan. It's just "the thing to do", I guess. Most people seem to find him annoying, because he's so hyper, and always seems to be trying to talk to everyone... By that I mean he tries to talk to everyone at the same time, and usually just half-shouts - or maybe he's just trying to find someone who'll listen? So they get fed up of him always airing his views, I think. Or maybe they don't like him for some other reason. I don't know; I've never asked. All I know is, now that I've actually given him a chance, I think he's quite a nice guy.

Okay, so that's a bit of an understatement. He's friendly and funny and damn cute. He always seems to be joking around and having a laugh; he's quite playful - one of his favourite things to do, it seems, is tap me on the shoulder and quickly dodge to the other side. And he is just so so cute... his eyes, his nose, his hair, everything!

Ahem. I should probably get off the subject of cuteness right now, else I never will. In fact, I should probably stop yakking about Dan, but I don't care, this is fun!

Just as long as he never finds it and decides I'm a scary person to be avoided, and never speaks to me again, right? Right.

Hopefully I will be getting my photos developed soon, and then you can see the random ones I took of Dan a few weeks ago. I wish I'd had it at the games night though - his hair was everywhere and... aww, he just looked so cute!

Again with the cuteness. I really must stop doing that. Actually, I think I should probably stop this now... because I have something very cool for you to do. If you haven't already, go to my Blog and read my last "encounter" with Dan (whichever one that may be). Then answer the poll below. *spins around* And have fun!

...Dan is so cute... ^.^
