Heaven, My Blanket ~
Letters

In Loving Memory of
Angel Rose Reed and Baby Dru Reed

This was our first letter from the hospital about donating something. We decided to make just blankets for babies as this is something that not all people think of doing for grieving moms. Whereas they get a ton of donations of hats and booties.

Our first donation and letter that was sent with the package comes from Jackie Comeaux, in memory of her three angels, Michelle, Jerry and Danny. You can read more about Jackie and her angels by clicking on the first little sheep below ~

This below is from a letter to Sheri from Sandy Riggs, who heads up
The Angel Pillows project ~

Hi Sheri, Thanks so much for writing. I visited your web site, Heaven, My Blanket, and I'm so impressed with your work. Your blankets are beautiful, but most of all, your desire to give comfort to grieving families
really touches my heart.

I would be happy to link your web pages from mine. I have the Angel Pillows project up on various websites, including at MSN groups and I will add your website
to my list of links.

I do a little crocheting...I'm really a beginner, but I would enjoy making a blanket or two for the families you are in touch with.

All my best,
Sandy Riggs

This is our most recent letter from Peterborough Regional Health Centre, thanking Sheri for her latest donation of blankets. They hope to have Sheri's continued support also.

This below is from a letter to Sheri from Melody O'Brien,
who sadly lost a little angel, Lily Hope.

My name is Melody and I wanted to thank you for the Crocheted blanket.

Last week on Mar. 20th I was faced with the most difficult experience in my whole life. I had to deliver my angel (Lily Hope) at 17 weeks. I was told on Wed. that my baby had passed after my doctor couldn't find the heartbeat. It was the worst 2 days in my life.

At 6:42 pm, Mar. 20th, I delivered my angel and could not help but to hold her. If I could have held her all nite I would have. My husband and I took pictures of our baby to keep as memory of our precious baby that was with us even for a short period of time.

Thanx again for your thoughtfulness and for listening (reading).
I hope to hear from you soon.
Melody (Mel)
