Interest grows and slams are popping up all over the place, from small
towns with only around 6000 people to the huge metros like New York and
San Francisco.
The National Poetry Slam is held year after year and it is growing
almost beyond the abilities of poets to handle.
In August 2004 St. Louis took on the great task of hosting 69 teams and
all the side events, workshops, feature slams and showcases!
This year Albuquerque grapples with the monumental task of hosting up to 80
slam teams who will compete for the national slam title. If you would like to include your venue, or to include yourself, or
