A new event at NPS: The Streak Dash!
It's a naked dash in front of the hotel,
through the lobby and ending in a splash at the pool.

And the winner was: Grandma Dave!

This year the race was officiated by the hotel Security!
(no lie)

THE 2003 NATIONAL POETRY SLAM IS FINISHED!

Second Place: Nuyorican

Third Place: Austin

In the Individual competition, the National Champion is Mike McGee.

In second place is Shane Coyzan.

Third place went to Delisile.

In the biggest National Poetry Slam ever, 63 Teams
competed in Chicago this week
for the 2003 National Championship.

The National Poetry Slam is over.

After an incredible Finals, and a surprise ending ringing echoes of 1999 we have a TIE:

NYC Urbana and Detroit, MI are the winners.

NYC Nuyorican took 3rd

Seattle came in 4th
