Saved!

Don't let the indie feel of this movie fool you, Saved is a definite must see.  Set in a fictional Christian high school, it depicts the lives of seniors that are faced with the everyday pressures of smoking, drinking, sex, etc.  It does have a rating of PG-13 for some inappropriate scenes so don't take the little ones to this flick.  And if you don't care so much for Mandy Moore, it's ok, she's not the lead of the film even though the trailers make it seem that she is.  Although it's displayed as a satire, Saved does have some emotional and serious moments.

Shrek 2

They say that sequels are never as good as the originals, but Shrek 2 has proven them wrong.  It's more fun, has better music, more and more guest appearances and in the end will make you laugh more than the first film.  And it's family friendly.  Go and see this movie.
