I was born on May 14th, 1967 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada My fields of study have flowed all around a path, an almost improv riff of its own: when I was in elementary and high school, I thought I wanted to be a cartoonist. I drew cartoons for the school paper, filled notebooks with drawings, what have you. Once I got to college, I wasn't so sure that this would be my life-path. I studied the range of creative arts: singing (being a busker for several years), drawing/painting, writing, theatre and music. By University, even that didn't feel right. I took a Bachelors degree in Animation. I thought that it combined all of my artistic skills. Fresh out of school, this didn't quite feel right either. I was really more of a writer than a drawing artist. So, I focused on that. Then I learned HTML, I'm learning Flash, and I've grown into the computer field. One other thing: since late 1995, I've had Multiple Sclerosis. It has slown me down a step, but it won't stop me from striving to succeed in my various fileds. Written July 23rd, 2000 |
