What is the Shroud of Turin? Just when you think the Shroud is down and out for the count, some new discovery surfaces to throw it back into the spot light and renews the interest of scientists and the public alike.

The Shroud is the most studied, tested and probed religious relic in the history of the world,each new test brings possible answers , more questions and controversy.

How was it formed? ,we really can't say but we will give some conjecture , what we do know is this, it is definitely not a painting, no matter how hard some individuals or groups try to advance this notion, they are being dubious and un- evenhanded with the truth.

Some people like to dismiss the Shroud as just a Catholic relic , but in reality the Catholic church has only been a custodian of it for the last 600 years or so, before that it could have been in possession of the Eastern Orthodox church and before that in the possession of the early christian church at Edessa.

FACT: The Shroud contains images faintly visible to the naked eye of more than twenty flowers in bloom that were placed around the deceased,pollen as well was found of these flowers that are native only to Jerusalem, and bloom only during March and April, During the last few years new scientific discoveries have challenged and discredited the 1988 radiocarbon dating of the Shroud. Additionally, the image-causing method, which accounts for all of the features of the body image and blood marks and which is consistent with the historical accounts of the resurrection of Jesus Christ in the first century, was not published until 2000...

The finest scientists, physicians, mathematicians, archeologists, and other professionals, using the most sophisticated equipment and techniques, from some of the most distinguished colleges, universities and institutions throughout the world have brought to light an exhaustive amount of evidence pointing to the uniqueness of the images discovered on the Shroud. Most of this evidence is unseen by the naked eye, we must ask ourselves, how could a medieval forger create it and if he could why would one create something that people can not perceive or see ?
