YFC History: Conference with Gary V. HI EVERYONE! I'm finally able to check my mail again after a really hectic month. The YFC Conference was spectacular. Kuya Terry leaves today to go back and plan your conferences-- help him 'k. Gary V. was awesome! He prepared for an hour and a half concert but since he liked the crowd so much he extended up to three hours. The concert ended with worship. Now if he did like we told him-- we asked him to learn Sure Foundation, Lord I Lift and Broken Chains-- people would have gone wild (at 1:30m am!!!!). But I guess he loved us anyway because we were so responsive and we actually prayed with him. We had 9,000 people there. There was a storm all over Southern Luzon except over Lucena. We turned marsh land into heaven for the last 3 days. What can I say... God is truly the best! We had a camera crew there-- since the conference is going to come out on TV next month and the crew along with the producers wept along with us. Telling us that its the first time they've ever experienced anything like this. Gary V. was floored, saying he had never experienced anything like this. His wife was telling us he could have sang until 4 am if we didn't stop him. I guess we sort of evangelized him too. Can you imagine! And look at all of us-- we live for this stuff! We're just moving from glory to glory. How blessed we should feel that God picked us to be a part of this awesome work! For me, this was the most tiring conference. I actually didn't finish the concert because I was falling asleep on Gary V. We were averaging something like 2 hours per night, but of course it was all worth it. In one part of the conference, we put up a memory lane where we had pictures and memorabilia of YFC from the start. Of course all your pictures were there plastered big time-- from the first camps in the US up to GAT. Try to put up one for your conference too! When I got back, I ended up having to sleep so much. But I'm going back to the (CFC) Center today. I'm glad to see all your mail. I can't wait for Jacksonville-- I really want to go. love, Maita

REGISTRATION FORM SPORTSFEST AT CONFERENCE	VOTE FOR THE NEXT VENUE
7th CFC Youth for Christ National Leaders' Conference 05/02/2001 02:02:24 AM Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Greetings and peace to you all! Less than 3 months from now we will be holding the 7th CFC Youth for Christ National Leaders Conference at the University of Texas in Arlington. We would just like to remind you of all the registration forms and conference fees of $140. The deadline for the full payment of the registraton fees will be extended to June 15, 2001. After June 15 the registration fee will go up to $150. Please specify the shirt sizes, whether it is an adult or youth size. We would like to request that you please send your area advertisement for the souvenir program. The souvenir program deadline has also been extened to June15, 2001. We encourage each area to have an advertisement for the souvenir program to make this conference memorable one. Kids Watch will be provided during the conference for a fee of $45 per child. This includes 6 meals and 1 field trip. The child will have to share a bed with their parents. We will be negotiating with the university for those participants who will arriving on Thursday and staying for Sunday night. We will let you know the price for an extra day in the university after the negotiation has been finalized. Please encourage your youth to come this conference. This is a totally different conference from what we have experienced before. It will be very exciting. We will be mailing more conference info within the next two weeks.
