1. Each slot costs $150.
2. 1,000 copies will be pressed, with each band receiving 15 copies of the CD,
and the remaining copies given away with the 'zine.
3. Submissions MUST be on CD or CD-R. If a band can not send it on anything but
a DAT there is a $20 Real Time fee (this is because it costs $45 an hour for
mastering and DAT's have to be mastered in Real Time, which means you have to
play the whole song to master it & it costs more in the long run). There
must be only one song on the DAT and it must be mastered ONLY at 44.1 Khz.
4. Do not send your only copy - keep a back up for yourself. Metal Mafia is not responsible
for loss, theft or damages to the DAT you send.
5. Song should be no more than 4:00 in length. A song that is not much longer
will be accepted AS LONG AS WE HAVE SPACE ON THE CD. If your song is over 4:30
you must pay a portion of the fee for a second slot. The prices are as follows:
A: 4:30 - 5:10: $25
B: 5:10 -5:30: $50
C: 5:30 - 6:00: $75
D: If your song is over 6:00, you must pay for two slots. (It would not be fair
to charge the same price to a band with a 2 minute song as a band with an 8
minute song).
5. Do not send a song with an intro. All intro's will be removed during the
mastering.
6: If you do not have your materials in by the deadline, you are not on the
comp.. Slots are given on a first come, first served basis. If all slots are
filled, you can choose to have your money returned or want to be on the next
one.
7. The bands retain all individually rights to their music. However, all
submissions become the property of Metal Mafia. You must notify us in writing if
you'd like your CD-R, or Dat returned.
8: DEADLINE: OCTOBER 31st, 2000......Money Orders (only) payable to Dea Evenbeck,
Jill Girardi or Jenn Matthews.
This comp. will give you
some great exposure with copies being sent out to radio stations, record labels,
'zines and fans.
If you are interested, contact us A.S.A.P...The sooner you contact us, the
sooner we can release this CD. We've already gotten a good amount of interest,
