Now do you still believe you are ready to break into comics? For some this is where doubt may creep in and that's ok. There are places available to help build your abilities and you can return with full confidence. Others may give up right here. Once you give up completely there is no help left. Approbation Comics is a small indy company. We promise to look at each and every submission we receive, but please remember our primary job is to produce comics. Feedback may take the usual 4-6 weeks, or it may take longer depending on our workload. Rest assured if your submission is good enough you will receive a response.

We are currently accepting submissions from talented Pencillers, Inkers, Colorists, Painters, and Letterers.

Basic submission guidelines include:

• A cover letter stating discipline and a little about yourself.
• 3 to 8 pages of sequential art. Photocopies please as submissions will not be returned.
• Make sure contact information (name, mailing address, phone number, e-mail address) is on every page of your submission.
• Submit samples showing your ability in one discipline only. If you're selling yourself as a penciler don't send inked and colored pages. If you are multi-talented submit a different package for a different discipline.

Due to legal reasons we will not accept personal creations or story samples. As a neophyte company we have to legally cover ourselves. If we have similar characters or storylines already in development and also accepted your characters or story ideas, there could be a dispute over creator rights. If you wish to see your creation in print you can always investigate self publishing which is hard, but a possible option.
