That's About The Size Of It!
A Fingerplay
Directions: Repeat this action rhyme four more times, replacing the word teeny with each
of these words in turn: little, average, big, and huge. Be sure to make your voice
"bigger" with each verse to match your motions. When your youngsters catch on, try
chanting the rhyme backwards, substituting smaller for bigger.
Once there was a [teeny] fish
Swimming in the sea.
Said the [teeny] fish,
"Oh, how I wish
To see a fish [bigger] than me!"
