ROSE AFTER TITANIC
Chapter Fourteen

The Next Day

Sam walked into where Rose was being held. "Rose, take off your clothes."

"No!"

"I said, take off your clothes," Sam replied angrily.

Rose went to the window to try to escape, but Sam caught her and pushed her onto the bed. Rose, knowing she was about to be raped, fought back as hard as she could. She grabbed the vase from the table and hit him on the head. Sam fell down, unconscious.

Rose ran to the window and escaped. She ran for a mile, until she collapsed, unconscious, on the road.

Jack, who was driving with Molly Brown, stopped the car and ran over to her. She was hardly breathing, and there was a puddle of blood where she had collapsed. He picked her up and carried her to the car.

He drove as fast as he could to the hospital.

Rose remained unconscious for two months. Jack was worried that she would not pull through.

"Where am I?" she asked weakly.

"You’re in a hospital," Jack replied.

"How long have I been here?"

"Two months. I was worried that you were not going to pull through."

"Jack, it was terrible. Cal, who we thought had changed, tried to rape me the night I tried to escape."

"Rose, Cal did not try to rape you. It was his twin, Sam."

"What?" Rose asked in shock.

"He's right," Cal replied, walking into Rose's hospital room.

"Cal, that really was not you?"

"No, it was not."

Rose cried tears of joy, knowing that Cal had not changed back after all.
