ROSE AFTER TITANIC
Chapter Thirteen

Nathan walked up Sam’s, Cal’s twin brother, living quarters on the fourth floor of the Hockley's six story mansion.

"I need you to take your brother's place for awhile."

"Where is he?"

"I have him and Rose locked in different parts of this mansion. I want you to go where Rose is being held."

"And take my brother’s place?"

"Yes. By the time she realizes you’re not Cal, it will be to late for her," Nathan said. Sam laughed and headed for Rose’s room.

Rose was trying to escape from the rope that tied her hands together when Cal's twin walked into the room.

"Cal, I am so glad to see you."

"Rose, you are going to divorce Jack."

"What?"

"You heard me."

"Cal, what has gotten into you? I thought you changed."

"Well, you thought wrong, sweetpea. You’ll be mine again soon enough."

"I’ll never be yours, Cal."

Rose finally managed to free herself from the rope and tried to make a run for it, but Sam caught her and twisted her arm behind her back. "You will divorce Jack. Is that clear?"

Rose didn’t say anything. Sam slapped her hard across the face. "I said, is that clear?"

"Yes," Rose said, scared and shocked at his actions, not knowing that it wasn’t Cal, or that Cal was being locked up until he changed back. Sam laughed and left the room, locking it behind him. Rose sat back against the wall and cried, thinking about Cal changing through the years and how they finally had all gotten along.
