ALL’S WELL AS ENDS WELL
Chapter Nine
Katy and I watched Rose and Jack
make out for a while. Katy was kind of freaking out.
"Oh, my God! Oh, my God! I’m
too young! Ew!" Katy screamed.
"Katy, be mature! You’ll
have to be mature for the next part," I said.
"What’s the next part?"
Katy asked.
"The drawing!" I
answered.
"What?"
"We have to help them get
away from Lovejoy and follow them," I said. I only heard Katy grumble.
I leaned against the railing,
waiting for Rose to lead Jack to her room.
Meanwhile, Katy was huddled in a
corner, whispering, "They can't see me...it's impossible...I don't see
them...they don't see me...yes…" I looked over at Katy and rolled my eyes.
Soon Rose and Jack left for Rose's stateroom.
"Are you coming?" I
asked Katy.
"Sure..." Katy trailed
off. We walked into Rose's room as she was putting on her kimono.
"Hi..." Katy said to her as she looked at Rose.
"Girls, could you wait in my
room while I go out to Jack?" Rose asked.
"Sure...but tell us when
you're finished...we need to help you escape Lovejoy..." Katy trailed off.
Rose nodded and left the room.
"What do you want to
do?" I asked Katy. I looked over. Katy was peering through the keyhole.
"Katy? I thought you were scared of romance!" I exclaimed.
"Hey...I can't stay
away," she said. I walked over and peeped through the keyhole, too. We
spent the next hour watching what was going on in the sitting room.
Soon, we lost track of time,
looking through the hole, and soon Rose opened the door, followed by a thud and
hisses of pain, which were from us. We had our hands over our eyes.
"Ow...ow...ow..." Katy
hissed.
"Um...girls, are you all
right?" Rose asked, concerned.
"Yeah...we’re...fine...fine..."
Katy whispered in pain, nodding her head.
"Well, we're ready for you
to help us run through the Titanic," she said.
"Okay..." Katy said,
trailing off. We walked out of the room as she changed into a comfortable
dress. Katy and I had them wait in the sitting room until we heard Lovejoy’s
footsteps.
