Chapter Eight
Katy and I ran to the bow. We
only saw Jack. So, we waited for Rose.
"So…how are we supposed to
save Jack?" Katy asked.
"I don’t know…yet," I
said. "Oh, look! There’s Rose!" I added, pointing. Katy and I watched
as Jack helped Rose up onto the railing. "Wow…that’s one beautiful
sunset," I said.
"Yeah…" Katy said. She
rested her head on my shoulder.
"Whoa…whoa! I don’t know you
like that!" I said.
"Um…yeah…right," Katy
said, straightening up. "So...do you think we could really drown
tonight?" Katy asked.
"I hope not," I
answered.
