*~The Dream Of A Lifetime~*Nickolas and Valondra sat outside by the tour bus at the Georgia Arena while everyone else was inside. The guys were taking a break from rehearsal and Nickolas wanted some alone time with his girlfriend. “I can’t believe we actually made it this far,” Valondra said. “Just think it’s been one year, two months, and nineteen days to be exact.” “I knew we would,” Nickolas said. “Whatever,” Valondra said smiling and Nickolas kissed her. “Just think of all the things we’ve been through,” Nickolas added. “Let’s see, where do we begin?” He smiled. “Let’s start with the time you thought I wanted to dump you to go out with Justin Timberlake, because you misunderstood what someone told you and then you broke up with me, because you thought it would be easier.” “That lasted for how long? For, like, two hours.” “Or how about that time when I thought you wanted me to go back home and we got into that stupid argument about it and then we didn’t speak to each other for two whole days.” “That felt like eternity. We can’t forget the most recent one now can we?” “How can we? I thought you didn’t like me anymore.” “I don’t know why I didn’t believe you. I guess God was just testing us.” “If I wanted to get rid of you I would’ve done it a long time ago.” She smiled and kissed him. “Did ya like my gift?” “Yes.” “Then why ain’t you wearing it?” “Well…” He took the necklace from his pocket. “I was waiting for the perfect moment to put it on and I think now is the time since we’re actually alone.” Valondra just looked at him and he asked, “Would you like to do the honor?” “If ya really want me to.” He handed her the necklace. “Why didn’t you say anything before?” “Sorry to interrupt,” Justin apologized. “But the others are ready for ya, Nick.” “Tell them to give me ten minutes,” Nickolas said. “Alright,” Justin replied then walked away. “Did you ever get the feeling he wants you?” Nickolas asked and Valondra looked at him. “I’m being serious.” “No I don’t get that feeling,” Valondra replied looking at him strangely and shaking her head. “You’re so crazy.” “For you,” Nickolas said and he kissed her. She kissed him in return and they sat there kissing for a few minutes. “Now to answer your question,” Valondra began, “I didn’t want to seem too pushy.” “Hey, go ahead and be pushy. I don’t care, because you can push all you want.” “In what ways do ya mean?” He kissed her neck. “Any way you want to.” He continued kissing her neck. “You’re so naughty. I don’t think I want to know what’s going in that mind of yours.” “A lot is going through my mind right now and it involves you, me, and…” “Nickolas Gene Carter, you sick pervert. I can’t believe you’d even think of something like that.” “You’re wearing off on me, Princess. What can I say; I spend too much time with you. Guess I should stop.” “Oh no you don’t.” She wrapped her arms around his neck. “I ain’t going anywhere and you ain’t going anywhere.” “Sure thing, Sweet Thang.” She smiled and put the necklace on him. “There ya go. It’s on and it looks great.” “I’m sure it does.” He touched her arms and began rubbing them. “But I know that you look even better.” “Thanks, you look good too.” “Thanks.” He went to kiss her and they heard Kevin yell, “Nick, you’re ten minutes are up.” “Alright, I’m coming,” Nickolas yelled back and he looked at Valondra. “Such a demanding business I’m in.” She grinned and he got up. He pulled her to her feet and put his arms around her. “I can’t even spend quality time with my girl.” “We’ll get our quality time soon, Baby,” Valondra assured him. “I hope you’re right,” Nickolas replied, as Valondra jumped on his back and he carried her into the arena.
