“Hey, T,” Joshua said interrupting her thoughts and staring and he took a seat beside her.

“Not you too,” Antoinette moaned.

“What?” Joshua asked confused.

“You just called me ‘T’.”

“Sorry, Loni’s wearing off on me.”

“She’s wearing off on everyone lately. She’s corrupting your minds. Leave now before it’s too late and you actually have a chance.”

“I’ll try my best to get away.” They laughed and Antoinette went back to her Justin watching. “You like him, don’t ya?”

“What are you talking about?”

“Justin, you like him.”

“No I don’t.”

“Yeah ya do.”

“Alright, if you’re so smart, how can ya tell?”

“I noticed the way you’ve been looking at him lately.”

“And how’s that?”

“You look at him like Loni looks at Nick; like he’s the only man for you.”

“So you’re comparing me to Valondra Summers. How do you know all this?”

“I don’t know. I just guess. Why? Am I right?”

“What do you think?”

“I think I am.”

“Alright then, you got your answer.”

“I knew it.”

“You’re not mad are you? Considering…”

“No, don’t take it personal, but I’m not ready for a relationship quite yet.”

“None taken. Besides, I think we’re better off as friends.”

“I agree. At least we ain’t boyfriend and girlfriend. Should I hook ya up?”

“There ya go again.”

“What?”

“You’re doing it again.”

“What am I doing?”

“You’re acting like Valondra.”

“That’s a good thing,” Valondra said from behind. Joshua and Antoinette turned around and saw her standing there with a smile on her face.

“Someone get lucky?” Antoinette asked.

“Funny ya nerd,” Valondra said glaring at her. “See what happens when you hang out with me, you start acting like me.”

“Get out of here, Lon,” Antoinette said.

“I just came to get a drink,” Valondra said. “And then I’m going back out there to watch my sexy Nicky C shake his thang.”

“And what thang would that be?” Antoinette snickered.

“You sicko,” Valondra said. “Just for that I’m going to embarrass the hell out of you.” She smiled.

“And how are you going to do that?” Antoinette asked, as Joshua sat back and enjoyed.

“I’m going to say that you want to have a gang bang after the show tonight,” Valondra joked. “No actually, um…” She looked at Joshua. “JC, pay attention this is how ya do it.” She looked at the other guys and said, “Hey, Justin!”

“Loni, don’t even,” Antoinette warned. “Yeah,” Justin said walking over. “What do ya need, Loni D?”

“I need you,” Valondra joked again giving him a seductive look. “No seriously, Toni wants to know if you’ll be her man.”

“Gee, Toni,” Justin began, putting her arm around her, as he sat down, “I don’t know. We didn’t even have our first date. I thought you and JC were hooked up?”

“We’re just friends, man,” Joshua butted in.

“Well after our first date I’ll let ya know,” Justin said, as Antoinette shook her head in embarrassment.

“Valondra, you’re dead,” Antoinette warned.

“Don’t hurt me,” Valondra said. “I’m fragile.”

“Oh, only Nick can,” Antoinette smirked. “I keep forgetting that.”

“Shut up, T,” Valondra said grabbing her drink off the table. “Now that I had fun embarrassing T, I’m going back to watch Nick. Let me know when the date is. See ya later.”

“I’ll get ya later,” Antoinette yelled after her and Valondra just waved her off. “See what I have to put up with all the time?”

“It’s very entertaining though,” Justin said. “I watch you girls all the time when I get the chance.”

“It’s cool you have a relationship like that and not take each other serious,” Joshua stated getting up. “I’ll leave you two alone so you can plan your date. I have something’s to do anyway so I’ll talk to ya’s later.”

“Later,” Antoinette and Justin said in unison.

They sat there a few minutes in silence and then Antoinette asked, “So when is this date of ours?”

“Whenever you’re ready,” Justin suggested.

“Ok,” Antoinette said not trying to sound too excited. “Um, how about when we get back to Florida?”

“Sounds good,” Justin said.

“Ok.” She smiled.

“Do you want to take a walk?’

“I guess.” They both got up.

“I was hoping we could talk anyway.”

“Alright.” He smiled and they began to walk.
