“Hey, Alex,” Valondra said, as she walked up to the back gate of the arena that morning and saw Alexander sitting there.

“I ain’t talking to you,” Alexander said looking away from her.

“I’m in a better mood now,” Valondra said. “I was just tired and when I get tired I get grouchy.”

“Whatever,” Alexander said still not looking at her.

“I couldn’t sleep at all last night.” She sat beside him. “It was really bothering me. Alex, look at me, please.” He slowly turned his head toward her. “I’m sorry for being a bitch to ya last night. I’ll try not to let it happen again.” She gave him a puppy dog face.

“You’re really cute when you’re asking for forgiveness.”

“Thanks.” She smiled. “So do you forgive me or what?”

“I don’t know.”

“Pleeeeeeease. I’m begging you. I promise it won’t happen again.”

“I guess since ya promised.”

“Thank you.” She hugged him just as Nickolas joined them.

“What’s going on here?” Nickolas asked, as Valondra left Alexander go. “I thought you weren’t talking to her.”

“She just apologized,” Alexander replied. “And I just forgave her.”

“So I gave him a thank you hug,” Valondra said, as she patted the ground next to her and Nickolas sat down. “Don’t worry, Nick, I ain’t dumping you for him. Even though it’s really tempting too.”

“Very funny,” Nickolas said and Valondra kissed him.

“Hey guys,” Kevin said interrupting Valondra and Nickolas’ kiss. “The rest of the day is ours to do whatever we want, but we need to be back tomorrow morning by nine.” Brian and Howard joined them.

“I don’t know about you guys, but I’m going to find my fiancée and spend time with her,” Brian said looking at them for a reaction, but not getting one.

“Forget it, Brian,” Valondra said. “We seen that engagement coming fifty miles away even before we read it in the paper this morning.”

“Right,” Brian said sighing. “I’m still going to spend time with her.”

“You can spend time with her yourself,” Alexander said. “I don’t feel like tagging along today. Lord only knows what you two are going to do.”

“I only meant me anyway,” Brian said. “So I’m out of here.”

“Later,” Valondra said.

“Hey, Valondra,” Kevin said. “Do you know where I can find Alyssa? I thought I’d take her to lunch.”

“Yeah,” Valondra said. “If she’s not working, at the Gap in the mall in Clearwater, then she’s usually at the basketball court with some of her friends checking out the guys. I’m not sure if she’s working today or not so don’t even ask.”

“Thanks,” Kevin said walking away.

“I think he’s in love,” Howard replied and they just gave him a weird look. “I’m out of here. I’ll catch ya guys later.”

“Lon,” Alexander said.

“She’s usually at the mall with Storm,” Valondra said before Alexander had a chance to finish.

“Thanks,” Alexander said getting up and walking away with Howard.

“If she’s not there then she’s at the court guy hunting with Alyssa,” Valondra yelled after him.

“Well it’s only me and you,” Nickolas said.

“And your bodyguard,” Valondra said looking back at the big black guy alone at the gate.

“He won’t be bothering us today,” Nickolas said.

“Hey, Nick, I’m going to go.”

“Alright, man,” Nickolas said getting up and then pulling Valondra to her feet. “I’ll see ya tomorrow.”

“Later. See ya, Loni.”

“See ya,” Valondra said waving to him and then looking back at Nickolas. “You knew I was going to say something about him being around, didn’t you?”

“Perhaps,” Nickolas said putting his arm around her shoulder, as they began to walk to his Durango.

“And I bet you have today all planned out too. So what are we doing today exactly?”

“I thought of a few things,” Nickolas smirked, as they stopped at the Durango.

“Well, it just occurred to me that I never went skinny dipping before.”

“What are you saying?”

“That we could try it.” She put her arms around him. “If ya want to.”

“Only if you want too. I personally wouldn’t mind seeing you butt naked.” She just looked at him. “Just sharing my secret thoughts.”

“I can’t believe you.” He smiled and kissed her.

“Now back to the few things I thought of.” She looked at him closely. “One that involves what you asked me in Georgia and what I was going to show you the other night…on the beach.”

“But I wouldn’t let ya.” He opened the door for her to get in.

“I’m still hungry for desert.” He kissed her and shut the door. She watched him walk around and get in the drivers side.

“You’re one horny pervert.”

“Like I said, only when it comes to you.” He put the key in the ignition. He was ready to turn it, but Valondra stopped him and he looked at her.

“Nicky, there’s something you’re not understanding here. I don’t plan on having sex with you or anyone until I’m married. It’s the way I feel and I hope you understand where I’m coming from.”

“Princess.” He turned to face her. “I’m not going to pressure you into doing anything you don’t want to do. I treasure you too much.”

“I just wanted you to know that…again.”

“I do and I’m sorry that’s what you think I’m doing here and being serious about it. I just do it, because you’re reactions are so cute.” She grinned and he kissed her. “I guess then you don’t want to go skinny dipping.”

Valondra shook her head and said, “I was only teasing anyway.” He nodded. “I’m sorry, but I can’t. It’s tempting though…really tempting, but I’m afraid of what might happen between us.” Nickolas looked at her and covered her hand with his own. “I know you’re not trying to pressure me into having sex with you, but at times it seems that’s what you’re trying to do.”

“Again I’m sorry that you think that’s what I’m doing.”

“It’s all right, Baby, because I know you’re not. Besides, the way you say it makes you even sexier.”

“Does it turn you on?” They kissed.

After the kiss, Valondra said I her best Austin Powers, “Oh behave.”

“Don’t get me started.” He pulled her closer.

“Nick, I have a question for you and I want you to be totally honest.” He nodded and again in her best Austin Powers she asks, “Do I make you horny, Baby? Do I? Do I make you randy? Yeah.” She smiled.

Nickolas just looked at her and smiled and she knew the answer right away and she kissed him. After a few minutes of kissing, Valondra pulled away and stuck her seatbelt on, as Nickolas started the Durango. He stuck his own seatbelt on, looked at her and smiled, and then pulled out of the parking lot.
