Kaci is upstairs in her room with Jose. Kaci is watching her soap opera while Jose is on the computer. An hour goes by and there’s a knock on her bedroom door.
“It’s open,” Kaci says.
“Hey playa, what’s good?” Nick says walking into Kaci’s room.
“Nick!” Kaci says getting up from her bed and running over to Nick and giving him a hug.
“Hey man, nice to meet you,” Nick says to Jose, extending his hand.
“You too,” Jose says returning Nick’s handshake.
“Jess, I have someone you need to meet.”
“Your new girlfriend?” Kaci asks.
“Yeah.”
“Where is she?”
“Downstairs with Kim.”
“Oh, alright. Give me a second,” Kaci says turning her TV off. "You ready to leave baby?” Kaci asks Jose.
“Yeah, let’s go.”
“Alright, we out this bitch!”
Kaci, Jose and Nick go downstairs. Kim, Kaley, Justin, Angela and Mrs. Roman are all downstairs in the living room on the couches.
“Babe, this is my best friend Kaci,” Nick says to Kaley.
“Nice to meet you,” Kaley says. “I’ve heard a lot about you.”
“Nice to meet you too,” Kaci says returning Kaley’s handshake and giving Nick an evil eye.
“This is my boyfriend Jose,” Kaci says to Kaley.
“Nice to meet you too,” Kaley says to Jose.
“Same here,” Jose says.
“Did you meet everyone else?” Kaci asks.
“No, just your mom.”
“Oh, well that’s my homegirl Angela from Chicago. She’s my manager and is moving down here within a month,” Kaci says pointing to Angela. “And that’s my brother Justin. He’s the pain in the ass that’s paying for dinner tonight.”
“Nice to meet everyone.”
“Do you want to come with us mom?”
“Oh no, you all go out and have fun. I’ve had a long day.”
“Do you want us to bring you something back?”
“I’ll be fine Jessica, just go have fun with your friends.”
“Alright but don’t say I didn’t offer you anything!” Kaci says.“Oh and keep an eye on Hayley!”
Kaci, Jose, Justin, Angela, Kim, Nick and Kaley leave. They end up taking two cars – Justin’s Trailblazer and Nick’s truck. Kaci and Jose go with Kim, Nick and Kaley in his truck and Justin and Angela go in Justin’s Trailblazer.
“Oh Carter, you owe me ten bucks!”
“For what?”
“I called Alex and he remembered me. He also said you were supposed to tell me something.”
“Tell you something? I have no clue what you’re talking about Jess!”
“Does Alex moving back to Florida sound familiar?”
“No!”
“Hold on, let me call him!”
Kaci calls A.J. to prove she’s right and Nick’s wrong and he owes her ten bucks.
“Hey Jess,” A.J. says answering his phone.
“What’s going on?”
“Carter is playing stupid! He says that you never told him about moving back to Florida.”
“Put him on the phone!”
“You’re on speaker, he can hear you!”
“Nick, why you being like this man?”
“Being like what?” Nick says.
“You know I’m moving to Florida next month, Kaley knew too!”
“I thought you were joking!”
“No, I’m really moving! Oh shit, Jess, can I call you back, I gotta go!”
“Yeah, that’s fine.”
“Alright, I’ll talk to you later.”
Kaci and A.J. hang up with each other.
“See, I told you! Now cough up the ten bucks Carter!”
“I don’t believe you! You’ll get your money!”
“Yeah, I’ve heard that one before!”
“Which way should I go?” Nick asks Kaci, trying to change the subject.
“Take 95 to Hillsboro and then go down A1A to Atlantic.”
Kaci and Jose are in the back talking to each other about Monkey Club later that night.
“Hey Jess, when you introduced Kaley to Angela, you said she was your manager. What’s that all about?” Nick asks.
“I didn’t tell you?”
“Tell me what Jess?”
“Oh, Angela works for Latium and I signed with them this afternoon. I thought I told you!”
“Well thanks for telling me!”
“So Kaley, what do you do?” Kaci asks.
“Well, in LA I went to school and I had an internship with KIIS 102.7 and that ended last week, so I was just taking time off when Nick brought up moving to Miami with him.”
“Oh wow, that’s awesome! I still help out at the station down here that is like KIIS.”
“That’s cool. Do you like working there?”
"It’s fun when I work with people I get along with, but there are a lot of people there that will act like they’re your friend and then stab you in the back. But if you want an internship I can get you one in West Palm Beach.”
“If you could, that would be awesome!”
Kaci’s cell phone rings and it’s her friend Valentine, who works at WiLD 95.5, the station Kaci mentioned to Kaley about getting her an internship.
“Hey Val!” Kaci says answering her phone.
“Hey Jess, what you doing tonight?”
“I’m hanging out with Justin and a bunch of friends, why?”
“Oh I was going to see if you wanted to hang out tonight at the house.”
“Oh. Well, if you want, you can come hang out with us at Monkey when you get off work!”
“I’m doing Resort until two in the morning. Are you doing anything tomorrow?”
“Not that I know of Val. You wanna hang out then?”
“Sounds good to me. Your place or mine?” Valentine asks.
“Let’s do my place and we can hang out in the guest house. But if Justin decides to record tomorrow, I’ll let you know and we’ll come over to your house.”
“Sounds cool. Who’s we?”
“Me and Jose, if you don’t mind.”
“Who’s Jose?” asks Valentine.
“I’ll explain later. Hey, Nick’s back in town, do you mind if he comes with me if it’s at your house?”
“Not at all.”
“Oh, and my homegirl Angela is here from Chicago, so yeah,” Kaci says hoping Valentine gets the point.
“Yeah, she can come too.”
“Awesome Val! What time do you get off tonight to go to Resort?”
“After the countdown,” Valentine says then looks at the clock.
“Hey Jess, I gotta go back on air, I’ll call you when I leave here.”
“Oh, alright Val. I’ll talk to you later.”
Kaci and Valentine hang up with each other and Nick arrives at Houston’s.
“Great, now all we gotta do is wait for Justin and Angela and then we’re set,” Kaci says getting out of Nick’s truck. “I’ll go see how long the wait is and put our names down. How many are we?”
“We’re seven Jessica,” Nick says.

Kaley and Kaci go inside and inform the hostess that there are seven in the party but they would like a secluded area in the restaurant for their privacy since Nick and Justin are with them, preferably outside.
