She promised she'd love me forever. She promised she'd always be by my side. She promised she'd never cheat on me. But she did.

I remember walking in the room, and I saw her on the couch making out with Nick. She was sitting on Nick's lap, her arms over Nick's neck, her body pressed against Nick's. They were so involved with each other that they didn't even see me come in. They didn't see me gape at the site of Nick's tongue going into my lover's mouth. I just couldn't believe it.

"Crystal!" I remember yelling so loud. And when she turned away from Nick to look into my heartbroken face, I couldn't believe I diverted her attention away from Nick. They were so involved with each other.

"JC...sorry...I--." She couldn't believe I had walked in on them.

"How can you do that?!" I stared at her, non-believing at the site that lay before me. She was still sitting on Nick's lap, her arm draped over Nick's shoulder. Nick was staring in shock at me.

"Crystal...I...didn't know you were with him?" Nick confusedly scratched his head.

"Nick...I'm sorry." Crystal dropped her head on the back of the couch, sighing.

Nick glared at Crystal, annoyed, and jumped off the couch and headed towards the doorway.

"Don't leave...NICK!" Crystal frowned as Nick left the room. He sat up and faced me. Her redish brown hair was straigtened down her neck. He glared at me intensely.

"You don't even care that I just walked in. You don't care if you lose me. You just want Nick, don't you?"

She didn't answer me. She just stared at the floor, like something would come out of there and save her from this awkward moment. Like she'd be sucked into the floor, down to the bottom of the earth, never to be seen again.

"JC...I, uh, got to go." She finally said, and looked up to see the expression on my face.

"Crystal. We're over," I looked her square in his brown blue eyes," You promised. Don't you remember?" She hung her head in guilt, and nodded to the ground.

"I don't think we should see each other anymore." Those words. Those awful words, which made me want to shrivel up and die. Karen said them. And that day, I was lieing in bed, despressed, when Crystal came in and sat down on the bed beside me.

"What's wrong, Joshua?"

"Karen dumped me." I tried hard not to cry.

"Why?"

"She said...she doesn't think we should see each other anymore. That's it. And she left."

"I'm sorry, Joshua." Crystal creased his eyebrows, like he was thinking deeply.

"Yeah, me too. Everyone's out to hurt me though...it's because there's something wrong with me, that's it right?" I closed my eyes, wishing to die " What's wrong with me, Crys?"

"Nothing, Joshua. She must be crazy if she dumped you. I'd never do that, if I had you."

I studied her face. Did she mean that? She seemed serious though. Too serious.

Suddenly I felt lips on my lips. Full femaline lips. Crystal lips. And then I felt hertongue part my lips and slide into my mouth, gliding over all of the inside of my mouth. I felt her arms on my waist, as she pulled her tongue out of my mouth and looked me directly in the eye.

"Joshua, if I had you. I would never dump you. I'd love you forever. I would always be by your side. And I would never, ever, cheat on you. I promise."

"I'm leaving. You can stay here if you want." I ran out the door, and Crystal got up and ran after JC. She then grabbed JC and said "Joshua wait, something happened with me and Nick, something I can't explain.

"JC? Are you okay?, I'am truly sorry" Her voice was so smooth and sexy. It was the perfect voice for running a phone sex hotline. It could make any guy go crazy.

"No, what do you think ?!." said JC with anger in his voice

Crystal knew that JC was angry for what he saw between her and Nick

"What's wrong?"Crystal asked, as if nothing was wrong.

"You cheated on me. With Nick!!!"

"I know I cheated on you with a BACKSTREET BOY" Crystal said

"What's wrong with me Crystal? Why can't anybody love me? You said you would love me when Karen dumped me, and you didn't. You promised me you would always be by my side, and never cheat on me. You don't even want me at all, you want Nick. Where did I go wrong, Crystal?"

"I don't know, JC. You must've had a pretty bad taste though if I have something for a Backstreet Boy. So it's not your fault. And believe me, there'll be someone that's just for you. That'll be by your side always.

Obviously that wasn't Crystal. "You didn't love me enough. True love never fades away Crys you should know that."

"I'll never find someone like you." I groaned and kicked the floor.

"You never know, JC. That someone could be right under your nose. And she'll love you through everything."

I looked up into Crystal's big brown eyes. They were so full of assurement and commitment. Maybe I could believe him. Maybe I could put my faith and confidence into him.

She kissed my lips, and I felt my knees get so weak, and I probably would of fell if her arms wouldn't of been there to hold me upward.

"I promise."

The kiss was getting really intense between Crystal and JC, their tongues intertwining. Nick then stepped outside of the room and saw Crystal and Nick and JC in a deep kiss. His eyes began to fill with fire, but in a way with tears. The anger built up inside. Nick tried to hold back his temper and the feeling to run up and kill JC. He couldn't stand ot see someone like JC hands all over Crystal. His hands going all over Crystal's body. JC began placing his right hand down her shirt and rubbing against her breast, then his left hand going up between her thighs.

Within minutes Nick couldn't take it anymore. He rushed out of the door and pinned JC to the wall. His face was covered in red.Then he said" You don't love her, all you want is her body which is why your such asshole."

JC grabbed Nick's hand hard and pushed Nick off of him. JC punched Nick, Nick grabbed JC around the waist and barried his fist inside JC's stomach. JC coughed and fell to the ground whincing in pain. With all he could speak JC said, " I suppose your joining her in the bedroom you son of a bitch!"

Nick turned to Crystal who had been watching everything from Nick grabbed JC. Crystal was shocked, she had never seen JC and Nick behave this way. Although her face was flushed with a shade a of red she was lovnig this, no guy in her life had been fighting the way just for her. Crystal then began to speak up.

" Nick...JC please stop this, this is insane...I love you both...but..... " she couldn't finish her sentence.

"But what?"asked JC, he then placed a soft arm around Crystal. Nick rolled his eyes at the fact of JC trying to make him jeleous. Crystal then continued.

"Look Nick, I fell in love with JC before I met you" She turned to Nick to see his reaction. When she did, she saw that some tears were falling down his face. Nick turned his face away from Crystal and said

"So do you feel anything for me of whom I suppose you have as a second Love or for this jackass ?" he said quitely.

Crystal didn't know what to think anymore, she was really confused. She knew that she and JC had a lot in common and that was always a good thing to look upon on a relationship. And then Nick and her was something she loved soo much.
